EDITORIAL: The Liberals’ Indigenous spending money pit
Despite a 300% increase in annual government spending from 2015-25, the standard of living for Canada’s Indigenous population barely budged

The selfish generation wants to protect its grift … at the expense of generations to come.
That’s truly unpatriotic and unquestionably self-centered
"With 18 to 29 year olds, Conservatives have a lead by almost 10 points."
Political strategist @KatlynHarrison says the Liberals' edge is built on voters over 60, while younger Canadians break Conservative on immigration, crime and affordability.

"We also have the economic reality of 80% of our trade being with the United States."
"For all this talk about Eurovision and associate EU membership, Europe is 8% of our trade. If you include non EU European countries like the Nordic States, that booms up to 11%."
"We need to keep a foot on both logs here"
"So it can't just be chasing trade diversification at the expense of any relationship with the United States."
And this "what is the point of going back to the table?" must be a Liberal talking point because David Cochrane keeps repeating it in the panels... @KatlynHarrison

Fair to say more than half of Canadians are completely overtaken by the menace to the south, while discounting the suffering their poor political choices have inflicted on the country and has nothing to do with the Orange Man taunts

How much longer will the Liberal Party of Canada be able to maintain power just by blaming Donald Trump for 100% of Canada's troubles? Canadians have many gullible voters so it may take time!

Germany’s foreign minister sat down with Vassy Kapelos and said the quiet part out loud: “Yes, of course we do” want more Canadian LNG. Supply chains are under threat. Germany still has a huge need for gas “for the next years still.” They’re looking to Canada
That’s four years after Justin Trudeau stood next to Germany’s chancellor and declared there had “never been a strong business case.”
Allies asked. Liberals shrugged. The U.S., Qatar and others signed the contracts. Canada is now chasing West Coast deals that start in the early 2030s. Fawning media never pushed back at the time
The market was never the problem. Justin Trudeau and his cheerleading media were
One chart explains a decade of Canadian economic policy:
Since 2015, Canada added migrants equal to roughly 17% of its 2015 population, while real GDP per person rose only about 4%.
The U.S.: roughly 5% and 23%.
Population growth alone is not prosperity.

Canada quietly made beer one of the most taxed products in the G7
Since 2017 an automatic federal “escalator” has raised the excise tax every April—no new vote required. The rate is now ~20% higher. Combined taxes eat about 46% of the retail price. The federal slice alone is roughly double the U.S. rate
Richard Alexander of Beer Canada’s point is simple: 90% of the beer sold here is made here. Sales have fallen in lockstep with the tax hikes. Investment and export decisions get made against that backdrop, while input costs and tariffs keep climbing
A policy that raises the tax even when volumes drop and revenues stay flat is not making the industry more competitive. It’s making a Canadian product more expensive at the worst possible time
But something has to fund all of Carney's new bureaucracy @BeerCanada
