“A lot of girls last year have definitely done the complete image I used to have when I was younger.. and yo that's cool but at least mine was real… […] to all the girls who say I'm History... I'M PROPHECY.”

My dear friend Maria has been taken by ICE and is currently being held in detention. We’ve been trying for weeks to help her and finally she has found an attorney willing to take her case but doesn’t have any access to her banking card. Anything anyone can give will help us get her out. 🤍 gofund.me/644ed2d10

I am alternating between outrage and despair for how Cornell has handled this, although I am sure this is a problem at campuses around our country.
This is totally unacceptable, and I am hoping this is a moment of finally having some change!
There is reporting this morning that Jane Doe did in fact say she was raped in her Cornell PD statement, but that the Tompkins County DA is now claiming he didn’t get that version of her statement.
We need to all keep the pressure on until there is accountability and change!
1,200 sexual assault cases were filed at Cornell from 2018 to 2024. Most of those found responsible received minor sanctions that allowed them to remain on campus, such as probation or training. Only 7 ended in expulsion or dismissal.

He needs to be disbarred.
Van Houten is running to every news outlet he can to release details from Jane Doe’s original complaint before it’s heard in court (disgusting) and also whining he keeps getting “emotional” calls and emails.

On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell @jvplive) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same @Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.

About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history. I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album. Really we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs. I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made. The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore including four new songs is out on Friday and available to pre-order and save now at taylor.lnk.to/TSTLOASTheEnco… ❤️🔥

Ms. Rachel reveals she was warned she might lose partnerships and views for showing her support for Palestine:
“That doesn’t faze me because the kids gave me the platform. I’m going to stand with them no matter what. People on the ground in Gaza are risking their lives all the time to help kids. I can do it from Manhattan.”
