Six things mentally strong people do 1.They move on. Self pity is not an option. 2. They accept change. 3. They stay happy. They control what they can control. 4. They are kind. 5. They are willing to take calculated risk. 6. They celebrated other people’s success. – at Scottsboro, AL

A strong start is critical for our youngest students. Albertville K and Pre K School led by @bethrigs has students moving forward. Most of their learners are face to face, but I also witnessed some amazing small group virtual instruction.

Share with your legislators! Scientific research has shown how children learn to read and how they should be taught. But many educators don't know the science and, in some cases, actively resist it. As a result, millions of kids are being set up to fail. apmreports.org/story/2018/09…

Check out these "Blending Bands"! Have students make three separate bands with letters and that they can spin to create custom blending bracelets! Super fun for in person or virtual learning!
