The @GeelongSupercat women will travel four hours on Friday to play their first round of @NBL1 South finals, with just a 5-day turnaround from their final double header weekend of the regular season. My chat with coach Matt Paton in today’s Addy.
Not surprising given the @JSchueller15 @GeelongSupercat connection! Well deserved, congrats @hoodiehadley 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Gabe Hadley has agreed to a one-year deal with the Brisbane Bullets, sources told ESPN. All of the Bullets’ local spots are now filled for #NBL24.
The @GeelongSupercat men’s team will miss out on an @NBL1 South finals spot in 2023 - their 1st time missing playoffs since 1997, which was the 1st year playing in the 2nd-tier competition after handing back @NBL licence. They made the post-season every year from 1998-2022.
National NAIDOC Week officially starts tomorrow, but we like to start the celebrations early on Wathaurong country! Our NAIDOC Ball is on tonight and is the biggest it’s ever been, with 440 people……wish me luck!

Sensible me goes to the supermarket at 6pm, sees the chocolate on special and thinks “no, I don’t need any chocolate, I won’t buy it.”
Working late 10pm me hates sensible 6pm me.
Just found out that @giveon is finally coming to Australia, only to discover the Melbourne shows are both already sold out 😭😫😢
Big games from Agnieszka Skobel and Demarcus Gatlin helped the @GeelongSupercat men and women to victory over @rangers_bball at home on Saturday night in @NBL1 South
Three wins in three games for @GUBOfficial and @GeelongSupercat tonight. Great to be back on the mic after the long weekend break!

Best of luck to everyone participating in the @helpinghoops Charity Shootout this weekend! As we’ll be in Ballarat, Malik shot his 15 minutes of free throws last night at @au_hoop Geelong, making 274 out of 450. Let’s see how long he stays on top of the leaderboard!
With no @NBL1 South games this weekend, I took some time to sit down with @GeelongSupercat captain Demarcus Gatlin to chat about his role as an “energy giver” this @NBL1 season and what advice he gives to kids he coaches about being a team player
On this week’s episode of The Fast Break, the @NBL1 @GeelongSupercat women lifted for a 2-0 weekend while mourning their assistant coach, the men had a tough 0-2 weekend, and I had a quick chat with import Nick Velasquez and his mum Debbie.

Malik is raising money for @helpinghoops and is almost halfway to his 2023 fundraising goal! He will be shooting non-stop free throws for 15 minutes this Friday night at @au_hoop Geelong. If you can spare a few bucks to help, it is greatly appreciated!

Incredible to watch the Geelong United Supercats women rally together tonight and get a win at home after the sudden and devastating loss of assistant coach Nick Forde. Emotional night, emotional win. #SupercatsFamily
