3/ What does this look like on the ground?
CCP goons attack US residents and citizens like Kaiyu Zhang who protest against Xi Jinping's 2023 visit to SF.
Zhang was a victim of transnational repression for exercising his 1st Amendment rights during Xi Jinping’s visit to SF.

2/ A 2024 investigation by @SFTHQ & @hkdc_us classified All American Chinese Association (AACA) as an overseas “united front group” which advances CCP objectives.
AACA joined the SoCal mobilization welcoming Xi Jinping to the 2023 APEC summit.
United front orgs conduct political warfare in the USA to further CCP objectives.

The Spy's United Front Network
Wanying 'Heather' Zhang, who is alleged to be a CCP spy for surveilling the US-based son of the Taiwanese President, is a member of All American Chinese Association (AACA).
The AACA is identified as a 'united front' org in one investigation and has extensive ties to CCP intelligence and narrative messaging. AACA President Cai 'Edward' Chenghua works with an ostensible 'Who's who" of CCP intel orgs, is directly tied to a Chinese principal that is a PRC registered agent under FARA, and has extensive operations with united front activities and PRC consulates inside the US.
The CCP's united front, which spans at least 1,000 orgs across the U.S., operates like a network for spies and influence operatives to drop in, network across, and leverage for trouble-making.
The U.S. needs to be overwhelming response to this political warfare that includes sanctions, charges, deportations, and registration of any remaining agents. 🧵👇

A federal judge says only states can prohibit noncitizen voting in federal elections.
I find that argument unconvincing. Congress should have the authority to protect American citizens’ votes in federal elections.
Pass the SAVE America Act.

ROSEMARY JENKS: There are about 750,000 primary H-1B visa holders working in the U.S., plus roughly 200,000 H-4 holders who are also authorized to work and another 400,000 OPTs.
That's over 1.3 million American jobs that have been removed from American workers.

Why did @FBIDirectorKash say there’s no evidence of coconspirators?
It also has a redaction [subpoenaed] that conceals the existence of other Epstein files which haven’t been released. Where are those subpoenas?

Republican sign sites in Williamson County are carrying a candidate who just said, out loud, “I’m not a Republican.”
Tom Maynard’s (State Board of Education) son maintains those locations under the Republican Party banner. Property owners were told the sites would promote Republican candidates only. Amber Feller Landrum’s signs are now on them.
She is the incumbent RRISD trustee who fought the Ten Commandments law, backed a superintendent under a protective order, and has spent years opposing conservatives on the board.
Republican-secured property should not carry her signs.
Williamson County Republican candidates, including Tom Maynard, should demand Amber Feller’s signs be removed from every location secured in the Republican Party’s name. If you own one of these properties, pull the sign. If you are a local Republican candidate, say so publicly. @WilcoGOP @TexasGOP @cslape

China has the capacity to produce 50-55 million cars --
The domestic market has fallen from ~ 25m cars to ~20 m cars this year
China could easily export 2-3m cars to the US AND its 1.5m cars to Europe
One of my favorite parts of this is most everyone missing the second order effect: Europe wouldn't be doing this if they weren't getting hammered by China; they wouldn't be getting hammered by Europe if US didn't raise tariffs even more.
In other words: a) increased US tariffs on China forced the issue on China b) US was right yet again as Europe threw a hissy fit.
Guys just make it easy on yourself and start agreeing with us more

The Heartland Visa Act, which would flood rural areas with foriegner invaders, has been renamed!
It's now the State-Sponsored Visa Pilot Program Act of 2026 (S.5197) sponsored by John Curtis the senator for Utah.
Thanks to @atreyu_reign for keeping us on target.
Replying to @WillHavePeace
Correction: The Heartland Visa Act (S.5644) is dead—it expired with the 118th Congress.
The bill to focus on now is S.5197, the State-Sponsored Visa Pilot Program Act of 2026. If you oppose it, contact your U.S. senators and Senate Judiciary Committee members and tell them to oppose S.5197 and its inclusion in any larger bill.

More than a third of the men snared in a Hamilton County, Indiana, child-sex sting are illegal aliens from four different countries, the Department of Homeland Securityconfirmed, including a Senegalese national the Biden administration caught and released at the border in 2023.
According to Fox News, DHS told the network that 4 of the 11 suspects arrested in the operation, 36 percent, are in the country illegally. Police say the men believed they were chatting online with young girls, then drove to a meet-up for sex. Undercover detectives were waiting.

2) the embedded chinese content in ASEAN (esp. Vietnam), Taiwanese and now Mexican imports (big surge in computer imports from Mexico). it could tho have dipped a bit as the price of high end Korean chips soared
for goods on Lighthizer's lists 1-3 the current tariff (25+12.5%) should be close to prohibitive; the incentive to assemble outside of china huge

two issues here (other than the lagged OECD data)
1) China thinks it exports $150b more than the US thinks it imports , with the gap developing/ expanding as tariffs were introduced/ ramped up. Ana Swanson's reporting suggests substantial underreporting by US importers

Simon Andriesz, the British banker who uncovered 2018 emails linking Howard Lutnick to Jeffrey Epstein’s Adfin investment and took them to House Oversight, has died at age 57. BBC reported his findings. Lutnick later admitted to visiting the island but not the business dealings.
Simon Andriesz @SAndriesz has died. He took his own life this week, while staying at a trauma treatment centre, the same place he had gone to try to survive what years of fighting had done to him.
I wrote the piece below about him at the start of August. We last spoke on 13 August. Reading my own words back now feels different. Heavier. I did not know then that this would be the last chapter.
Simon gave me his story directly. The embezzlement he uncovered, the fraud he reported, the heart attacks, the police complaints, the years @TheFCA spent doing almost nothing while his life fell apart around him.
He handed the CFTC and HMRC enough to secure real fines. He handed the BBC enough for a full documentary.
And still the one regulator that was supposed to protect him let him carry all of it alone for 7 years.
He was one of the most credible people I have ever spoken to. Everything he told me checked out. And he still ended up broken by the very system meant to catch people like him when they fell.
I am angry writing this. Angry that a man this capable, this thorough, this willing to hand over evidence and testimony for years, was left to fight completely alone until he could not fight anymore.
Simon Andriesz deserved better. Rest in peace.
If you are struggling right now, please do not go through it alone. Samaritans are free, 24 hours, on 116 123.

Wanying “Heather” Zhang (张婉莹), a naturalized US citizen and a graduate of 🇨🇳 University of International Relations (2014), which has close ties to 🇨🇳 Ministry of State Security…
She got a Master of Public Administration degree from 🇺🇸 USC in 2016.
A sleeper agent planted into the US?
💥 The FBI arrested suspected Chinese agent Wanying "Heather" Zhang, a naturalized US citizen, at Los Angeles International Airport on Oct 4 after she surveilled the Taiwanese president's US-based son.
Zhang, an Irvine, California, realtor, was cuffed by federal law enforcement before she boarded a flight to Shanghai, China, from LAX, on a charge of acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government.
Zhang’s husband Edric Ding is also a realtor at the same firm.
A criminal complaint, filed in federal court by a member of the FBI's counterintelligence squad in Los Angeles, accused Zhang and an accomplice of traveling to Seattle, Washington, in Sep 2025 and taking pictures at the suburban home of a top Taiwanese official's family.
The target was Ting-Yu Lai, the son of Taiwanese President Ching-Te Lai.
Ting-Yu, an engineer in his 30s, attended college in America and has a young US-born son with his wife, Hsiao Chen. He now works for the Dutch multinational electronics firm Philips.
“If the PRC [People's Republic of China] wish to obtain leverage over the President of Taiwan during any potential conflict, the location and pictures of the close relatives of a high-ranking Taiwanese government official, including pictures of their homes and cars, could be useful to the PRC.”
Zhang and a man named only as "Individual 1" flew from Las Vegas to Seattle on Sep 1, 2025, rented a black Nissan Rogue and drove to their target's home.
Images from a neighbor's security camera show the two "appearing to film" Ting-Yu, his wife and their child as they arrived home that evening.
Zhang texted her Chinese government handler: "Saw him. Young male. It's that young one," and "I am videorecording," followed by two license plate numbers.
The texts from WeChat were obtained from a search warrant on Zhang's iCloud account.
“Zhang was in contact with at least two people whom she appeared to acknowledge worked for the PRC government.”
Zhang was introduced in June 2025 to one of the Chinese government officials by a classmate from her alma mater, Beijing's University of International Relations, which has close ties to 🇨🇳 Ministry of State Security.
Zhang booked a private room in Changsha, China, during a June 2025 trip, where she allegedly met the government official and received her surveillance mission.
She later texted the official, “I can take care of this thing”.
On Aug 26, 2025, Zhang wrote: “I will be busy with work in L.A. this week. I will probably go to Seattle next week” and the official replied: “Ok. Thank you for your hard work.”
Zhang is a licensed California realtor with JC Pacific Capital Inc. Her Zillow profile says she has 130 sales and listings around Los Angeles and neighboring counties.
Ting-Yu received his bachelor's in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2012; a master's in Bioengineering Innovation and Design from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, the following year; then a PhD from the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Washington.
