Israel was a really bad experiment. I think they just wanted to know what it felt like to be on the other side

It’s not a juridical term. And to the extent that there are juridical processes involved in some of the term “genocide”’s usage, those processes are definitely well underway
Just did a live interview on France24 to talk about my book. When I said the word genocide, a producer told the TV anchor to say that “it hadn’t been juridically recognized.” Obviously I refuted him immediately and said we are not going to have this debate 3 years into this genocide. He was taken aback and could hardly finish asking the following question…

The global rate hike cycle is here. 15 of the 33 major central banks, or 45%, have raised interest rates over the last 6 months, the largest proportion since 2023. This figure is now approaching the ~55%, recorded in 2018 and 2011. By comparison, the proportion peaked at ~95% in 2022, following post-pandemic stimulus and the resulting surge in global inflation. In total, 54 central banks have hiked rates so far in 2026. This also marks the first time since September 2023 that more central banks have hiked than cut rates over a rolling 3-month period. "Higher for longer" is back.

we can build entire data centers just around optimized eye movement-tracking algorithms
in the American technocratic capitalist framework, when economies of scale kick in, all digital services in modern life must turn to voraciously consume some human product which was, heretofore, regarded as an exclusively human and personal possession or right
16
there will be incredible, incredible invasiveness that can be achieved with the eye movement-tracking patents that Meta holds when that tech is combined with more specifically-hyperscaled compute & hardware pipelines. Imagine eye movement-tracking FPGAs and TPUs

ex.: a) Meta products like Facebook and Instagram pioneering surveillance of users and collection of personal data b) now, Flock cameras c) Alexandr Wang inventing the digital sweatshop model to train his low-tech RL models for Scale and now Meta AI
