It's my daughter's 9th birthday today and if that's not an excuse to get excited and make things I don't know what is :) This year I re-bound her favourite book (@terryandrob's Wee Free Men) into a completely custom leather hardback for the occasion. Ach Crivens!

Project complete. Small shoulder bag for my wife to carry her camera in. Hand cut and sewn from a pattern I drafted and lined with neoprene foam to protect the camera. Happy with this one - it might even be useful :) #leathercraft #handmade

I've just finished the second of these novels by @_vgoddard and I'm blown away. They are quiet, calm stories of vibrant, ambitious fantasy. The treatment of culture, neurodiversity and relationships is brilliantly observed and taught me things and made me happy cry. Go read :)
