I don't share the personal very often, but I'm proud of my guy and the work he puts in to help others be the best versions of themselves: "Behind the scenes, this ultimate Michigan Man helps Wolverines reach their potential" mlive.com/wolverines/2024/11…

Nothing like starting the workday discovering that you made a mistake two years ago in Endnote that changes things for a review team! Human error sucks, especially when I'm the human. (It'll be ok, I just look dumb)

Me.
i wonder how many people grew up yelling DIKEMBEEE MUTOMBOOO in that announcer voice and blocking their friend's shot on a child-sized hoop and doing that no no no finger wag. that's like one of my fondest childhood memories

One of the great commercials, up there with "Terry Tate: Office Linebacker". I loved watching him play, he was one of my defensive/shot-blocking heroes when I was a young hooper. And he did so much good off the court.
RIP Dikembe Mutombo — legendary player, philanthropist, and star of the greatest commercial ever:

That feeling when you finally run/upload/send documentation on that search you've been testing and tweaking and testing and tweaking for way too long. Fly away, little RIS files! To Covidence you go!

listening to people try to pronounce "Mankato"... this might beat out the pronunciation of "Wayzata" in the first few episodes of Beverly Hills 90210

Very true, we're not prepared. But the Minnesota tweets have been elite level today. Even managed to work the '91 Halloween Blizzard in (we can do that in any conversation)
Minnesota, as a state, cannot handle this level of drunk on attention. There’s gonna be a lot of people making bad choices at the Fair and I am so excited to watch.

Important info this election season for anyone who isn't an AKA, but *especially* white women (like me)! "It's not a Tik Tok dance..."
White friends, especially white women who did not have an undergraduate sorority experience: In the coming months you’ll likely see a great deal of content about VP Harris’ sorority affiliation and the support from its members. We 🩷 it. Some info & tips for us: 🧵

Younger Child's volleyball team, Legacy 12-1 Adidas, took 3rd place in the country at Nationals this weekend! So proud of their hard work. (she's the tallest one in the middle of the 12-1 picture, looking goofy :) )
Congrats to our teams that finished 3rd at the Girls Junior National Championships in Dallas, TX! 🥉12-1 Adidas - 12 National 🥉13-1 Adidas - 13 Open Only the 4th time teams from Michigan have finished on the podium at GJNC! #leaveyourlegacy

Finally saw my first Cybertruck in the wild in downtown Ann Arbor. It looked *breathtakingly* stupid.

Also, I've enjoyed and appreciated Monica McNutt's work for years now, and she is only showing herself to be even more phenomenal as she educates these folks and advocates for women.

It's been very telling to see which male sportscasters/personalities are listening, learning, deferring, and being open in this WBNA conversation, and which are being ignorant, narcissistic asshats.

Quick everyone, run your SR searches before June 25, when ClincalTrials.gov becomes unusable for evidence synthesis searches!

Unusable because you can't easily export to a citation manager, like you can in the "classic" version. It's not often an entity chooses to REMOVE useful tools that are simple in their new product.
