Dat side-wall.
Why have I bought into the Muskonomy? This is why. At 9pm on a Friday night I got in my wife’s car to pick up her Target order. I made it one house down before the car started throwing flat tire warnings. I pulled over and sure enough. It was flat. I very slowly drove it right back into our driveway, hopped out, and filed a claim through the Tesla app with my Tesla insurance. Within minutes a tow truck was dispatched to pick the car up and take it to the nearest Tesla service center. Since they’re open Saturday’s, the car will be ready for pickup tomorrow with a repaired or new tire. On any other car this would be a nightmare. Trying to find a tire shop over Saturday and Sunday, make sure my tire is in stock, pay a towing company to come get it… it would consume the weekend. Not with my @tesla though. A few taps of the screen and all I have to do it pick it up at the end. Wow.
I’ve spent more money on CZs than any other gun maker, I don’t think I’d glaze a TS3 orange this hard.
The CZ Duty looks like another polymer striker-fired gun.
So I already know what people are going to say:
“So it’s a Glock.”
Hold that thought.
Because something weird happened when I kept shooting it.
At first, the ergonomics felt fine.
Nothing special.
Then mag after mag…
the gun started feeling better.
Not worse.
Better.
Like it was forming itself to my hand.
And then I found out why.
CZ designed the ergonomics with DIFEND — Digital Firearm Ergonomic Design.
Biometric modeling.
VR testing.
Software tools that started out at NASA.
NASA.
So this gun was basically shaped for your hand before you ever touched it.
That explains why it points so naturally, why the trigger feels better under live fire, and why I could shoot it all day without my hands getting tired.
A duty gun is supposed to be good at a lot of things…
and bad at as few as possible.
I spent a lot of time looking for the bad part.
Still looking.
Be honest:
If you had to carry one polymer striker-fired duty gun, what’s on your hip?
Had to DQ someone for the first time yesterday. Handgun didn’t shoot, he pulled it back in for remedial and sent one. I was focused on the gun, but another competitor said it went over the berm. Be careful with your workspace and trigger discipline.
Finished up the Lizzie Borden season of monster. What even is this show? Really need to change it to inspired by, changing up the names and all.
Hey Shawn. Maybe you should disclose that your getting paid.
Not much has changed since my last everyday carry video in 2024. But after testing the new SIG P385, I’m upgrading to the Comp as my new EDC. Find out why on the Shawn Ryan Show YouTube channel. @sigsauerinc
Multiple zeros would be cool on rifles. Don’t really get the point on pistols.
🔥FIRST LOOK: @sigsauerinc XRAY5
The XRAY5 is a programmable optic with no distortion that has bluetooth compatibility with the app for easy in-app zeroing. Use its multiple zero memories for range ammo, defensive ammo, etc.
Made in the USA all for an MSRP of $499.

9ers get shit for the sub-station by the practice field, but have you seen the power plant next to target field?
What techniques? Be specific.
Got a call from a sheriff friend yesterday. During the call he offered that he had been an active competition shooter, but during his SECOND gunfight he realized the techniques from that sport would get him killed. “Having gone to Gunsite saved my life.” Shooting skills versus fighting skills. Train accordingly.
