On the morning of October 24 (KST), a post appeared on Threads claiming that Bukangi had been spotted near the passenger terminal and port area.
The person who shared the information explained that they couldn't upload any photos because the location is a restricted security area.
They then passed the reported location to a livestreamer.
However, since the streamer couldn't enter the restricted area, they attempted to verify the sighting from outside but were unable to locate Bukangi.
According to a person familiar with the area, Bukangi was reportedly swimming approximately 2 km away from the canal.
My personal theory is that Bukangi may have followed the seawall while trying to avoid the oil in the water.
