While researching questions for a game show in '90 we found awesomely obscure fact that telephone inventor Alexander Graham Bell preferred "Ahoy" as a greeting over Thomas Edison's "Hello" and did so 'til his dying day Won't you keep Ahoy-hoy alive by using it on your next call?

Off to buy a lottery ticket My 2 kids are in reception and year 4 at school; years 1-3 got the call to isolate/go home for a week. Is there a German word for extreme relief, while also also feeling bad for others who were less lucky?
In a case of history cruelly repeating itself, the 9yr old has ‘mastered’ Smoke On The Water on one string of his guitar. He’s now playing this endlessly for hours at at time. Something to which I subjected my parents at his exact age. What goes around comes around
