Care can be expensive, and the rules about paying for care are complex and often misunderstood.
Join Amanda Attrell who will be giving an overview of the current paying for care guidelines and the changes that are due to come into effect from October 2023.
The first event is already fully subscribed, so a second date is available for registered carers in West Sussex - head to the @CarersWSussex website for more information.

Yesterday, we got into the spirit of things with a Halloween Bake Off!
Our team resurrected their baking skills and brought in creepy-crawly cookies, terrifyingly good tray bakes, fangtastic brownies and a spine-tingly good Brain Cake.
Everyone was as happy as Hell with the spread, but the office soon looked like a Zombie movie with lots of full stomachs.
There was nothing left at the end, as everyone was Goblin all the cakes (ok, that's enough Halloween puns)

Whilst securing a Judgment in your favour is a positive step towards recovering monies owed to you/your company, this is often not the final hurdle.
We look at available options to enforce money judgements in our blog.

The Inheritance Act 1975 allows certain people to make a claim against an estate if the will or the intestacy did not make reasonable financial provision for them.
