Mark was a supportive and brilliant head of @gcnchambers - his idea of what a barrister should be has shaped the careers of me and many of my colleagues. If I hadn’t read his 2011 advert for pupils (pictured - I kept it!) I’m not sure I would have become a barrister at all.
It is with the greatest of sadness that we announce the death of our Head of Chambers, Mark George KC.
Mark was a principled advocate whose presence, friendship, strength & wisdom will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
