Both should get a red for that imo. Shaw shoved him hard to the ground for no reason

Typical biased referring, both players moved their heads so both should be sent off
Really dont agree with that from Attwell. Shaw leads with the head too, after flattening Bentancur in the first place. Nothing wrong with the challenge on him, get on with it you fanny. Hope Spurs pinch a draw. #PremierLeague

Up and running. Annoying to concede the 2 late on but the job had been done. Great to see EMI score a trademark belter #utv

FT 2-3
Spurs better first half and could have had a couple of goals.
Villa regrouped second half, old boys lead, new boys added goals and Villa were cruising at 0-3.
Bitter taste letting them get 2 late goals, never give the weak an opportunity, reinforce the victory.Make them go into a break having not scored.
Overall, Villa showed the grit, determination and quality when it mattered which bodes well. Prem, League Cup and Champions League comprehensive wins now, bodes well.
We just shouldn't have let them in, at all, because next time here, even feeling as if they can score against us may mean 3-2 the other way.
UP THE VILLA!!

Eased off too much at 3-0 / after the subs, but #avfc largely excellent until then. Goal just before half time was massive in the outcome mind.
Clear structure, determined, strong performances all over the pitch with clear room to grow too.
Jackson is going to be some player.
