BREAKING: BBC apologies unconditionally after gay presenter who was “sacked” wins claims he was subjected to unchecked homophobia in the work place. The investigation found Jack Murley had suffered insults and mockery because he was gay - pointing to failings at “managerial and INSTITUTIONAL level.” Among many incidents, Jack was told it was simply a fact that he was more likely to die of AIDS, while colleagues suggested he use the back entrance because “that’s what poofs do.” This language comes as no surprise whatsoever to the trans population, which along with the rest of the LGBT+ community, is now seen as the enemy. Fair game. Even though this investigation involved Culture Secretary @lisaNandy and the highest level of BBC executives, it will all be swept under the carpet and ignored by both @bbcnews and the rest of UK media, due to their ongoing active role in promoting transphobia. Transphobia inevitably bleeds into attacks on gays, lesbians and the rest of the LGBT+ family, because the public are told it’s now ok to talk about us in demeaning and insulting ways.
