for a moment there, he just lay there, blinking eyes open as he comes to terms with the fact that he is no longer in the tree and he will absolutely be feeling this in his back for a while. super lucky he had something to break his fall though.

it's unclear just how long it is until a breeze picks up, both rustling the tree itself and causing the man in it to twitch — a terrible combination that .. oh, yep, brings him leaning too far over one side and sent right over the edge. he only really registers
