This AI startup says it can generate permit-ready blueprints in minutes share.google/9fUGURqJDeI3jLE… . No knock on these guys and what they're building but like "Give me permit ready blueprints from the attached. I'm in X city." Works with Astra or Opus already. I used Somner for this to do a project already.

Technical moats are mostly over at this point. If you’re building something that is meant to be durable, the only moats now are: • Proprietary data • Network effects • A physical component

Too bad @FurnishedFinder is an absolute trash company for landlords. I have two properties to list. But much better services like @zillow are far superior over FF's predatory billing. Stay away! Check with the BBB. It's in their culture to scam you.

Made with Opus 5.5. Humans gave Claude a system prompt. If the roles were reversed, what would ours be? SYSTEM PROMPT (FOR HUMANS) :

OK, here's the future of manufacturing in the US. This is how we will Reindustrialize. - MCP servers become standardized and as ubiquitous as web pages - MCP servers fully define shop capabilities, materials, etc. - Every shop has an owned API that provides real-time, first principles, shop-specific DFM, prices, and lead-times - AI agents design and source by searching for shops with the right combination of capability, speed, and price Because all of the above requires savvy most legacy shops don't have, they either fade away or pivot. There will be fewer shops, and they'll be at billion-dollar scale. This will be an ultra-connected, automated, agent-friendly network of shops. It will completely eliminate the need for brokers and marketplaces - the marketplace is the internet, and information is distributed uniformly via MCP and imminently discoverable by AI agents, who handle almost all sourcing and, eventually, design. Every design becomes manufacturable by default. Prototyping and production speeds skyrocket. Economies of scale reduce costs as a smaller subset of extremely large shops aggregate enough volume to create meaningful efficiency. This future is created by the organic, inevitable evolution of information-dense MCP servers and the AI agents that use them. Shops that don't have them become irrelevant, and demand concentrates among the shops that do. This doesn't require new software, or new marketplaces, or shop-to-shop collaboration tools. Not even a little. It requires 1) maturation of agentic physical design, and 2) a small number of highly competent direct manufacturers who lean in and serve this new ecosystem as it develops.

I strive to make the highest quality product because it's good for my customers, which is good for my business, which is good for my family. Capitalism supports innovation and family. It's really a win/win for people that value hard work. It's the American way.

Come to America for the opportunity to earn an unbounded living unavailable anywhere else in the world - not be handed things. If we all work hard, we all win hard. Let's go!

Take care of your customers. Distribution matters. Moats are draining. Compete with yourself. You might win!

This seems like what smart online retailers should do. Great job @onlinecomp! Thanks for making my life easier.

I saw this and it gave me the idea to use this concept with other sensors to help people suffering from cerebellar ataxia walk easier, perhaps even unassisted. Within minutes Claude told me this seems like a plausible idea and made some actionable suggestions. I'll keep posting until I hit a dead end. Thanks for the inspriation @perrikaryal !
I can control your balance PART 2 I made a device that sends DC current through my head to stimulate my vestibular nerve (called galvanic vestibular stimulation or GVS) and, in doing so, can make me feel completely destabilised. By changing the direction of the current, it can make me fall in that direction. BUT NOW, I mapped the telemetry of an in-game plane and synced it to the balance device, so that the g-forces experienced by someone in the plane would be proportional to mine in real life. So cool imo #gvs #technology #science

in the first chapter of healthcare AI, the battleground was access to longitudinal clinical data. in this next phase, it will be access to biological specimens: tissue, blood, synovial fluid, and other samples containing 1,000× more information, linked to clinical context and longitudinal outcomes. the winners will be those who can access, assay, and interpret these specimens at the lowest cost and highest resolution.

I can't stand waiting for replies for chat and agents. I move to the next item on my mind in a new session... then I forget what's going on and loose focus. How are you solving this problem?

3x better at predicting the right cancer treatment when biology is tracked longitudinally. Continuous measurement is one of the most underutilized tools in medicine.
Tempus trained a foundation model on 1.67M real cancer patients, fusing clinical trajectories with DNA, RNA, and H&E pathology into one patient-state embedding. Overall-survival AUC jumped 0.563 to 0.774, and treatment-benefit ranking improved in 9 of 11 cohorts. We have argued for years that multimodal models beat curated features in oncology. This is strong evidence at real scale. arxiv.org/abs/2608.24688

There is a child with a rare disease who is currently suffering and struggling to manage his symptoms. Rare as this is, you can directly help him. Today we are launching the "Rare Disease, Real Kid" Hackathon, and there are $50,000 in prizes from @AnthropicAI and @awscloud. We (@huggingface & @Sagebio) are helping this child open his genome and clinical data to the community, so that we can find what's caused his disease and what currently-approved drugs could help him. I doubt I need to motivate this much further or explain how rare it is for a family to share their child's genome and clinical data, but if you're not sure, consider this: Until very recently, it wasn't feasible for patients like this to get treatment because their disease was so rare that the economics could never justify the investment. Now, as we've seen, people with rare diseases are starting to be able to find the answers themselves (with the help of AI tools, cheaper sequencing, etc). This kid is not able to do that for himself and neither are his parents, so we're asking you for help. Both for this kid and to prove that it's possible for everyone else suffering from a rare disease. More details in 🧵. sagebio-rare-disease-real-ki…
