Property rights are the most critical piece to the economic power puzzle. With the advent of private property rights came #capitalism. A socially progressive “reinvention of capitalism” is only possible when we renegotiate our relationship with land and “property”.
🌳 For years, Indigenous peoples have done what they can to protect their forest home from multiple threats - from settlers and deforestation to wildfires.
