De toekomst van mobiliteit is aangebroken
FSD Supervised has been approved in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 & will begin rolling out in the country shortly!
Trained on billions of kilometers of real-world driving data, it can drive you almost anywhere under your supervision – from residential roads to city streets & highways
No other vehicle can do this.
We're excited to bring FSD Supervised to more European countries soon

Here we go, my take on the 60 minutes hit piece.
2:55 - The supervisor is aware the car is making a mistake, has plenty of time to take over, yet allows the car to proceed into a 'no entry' signed construction zone. Not going to make excuses for Tesla on this one, FSD shouldn't have entered this lane, however it is a supervisor's job not not let the car do anything it shouldn't. Tesla improves its system based on people disengaging and leaving voice notes. Nobody was put in any danger, and as shown in a replay later in the video, no harm done after being waved on by the workers.
4:00 - Shows an article from 2021 and shows various clips in rapid succession from very early versions of FSD (beta) making mistakes. These early releases were only ever available to a select few early access testers, not released to the general public. Of course this context is not given by 60 minutes, and the unknowing viewer is led to believe this is the same software running on AI4 cars in Australia today.
4:40 - "Doctor Missy Cummings has spent a lot of time testing the limits of technology." yet it's not mentioned whether she has spent any time using FSD v13.2.9 at all. It's of my view that without first hand experience in the subject matter, someone's opinion holds little to no weight. FSD of all things needs to be experienced first hand to be truly appreciated and be understood. Additionally, with every FSD version update, you need to forget everything you thought you knew and experience it all over again.
5:10 - "self driving cars do not think, they don't know, they don't reason like humans reason, they don't imagine." Anyone who has spent any time driving with v13.2.9 knows that the car is absolutely capable of reasoning, and thinking through a situation. Tesla's AI model is constantly calculating all different possibilities based on what it sees around it 36 times every second and then acts on whichever one it thinks is best based on its training. Is that not equivalent enough, or even superior to the reasoning, thinking and imagination of a human driver?
"They just execute based on patterns that they've seen in the world." Yes exactly. So do humans. That's learned experience, lady.
"They mimic human driving, they don't mirror it." You basically just said the same thing twice and contradicted it.
5:38 - "Dr Cummings says Tesla's are at a disadvantage because of the sensors they use to decipher the world around them." Ah yes, that old chestnut. Well then Waymo with their many radars, lidars, cameras and 2kW of onboard computing power must never make mistakes then, right? RIGHT?!
7:53 - 60 minutes tries to claim that because Tesla uses only cameras, that's why it drove into the construction lane shown earlier. In broad daylight. In sunny weather. No, that's not an eyes problem; it's a brain problem, and can be fixed with future over the air updates.
9:45 - 60 minutes brings up an incident which happened all the way back in 2019 where a distracted Model S driver on Autopilot, who "dropped his phone and was looking down" plows through an intersection killing one person and critically injuring another. He tries to offload his guilt onto Tesla because Autopilot was engaged. Autopilot is a simple lane keep and TACC system designed for use primarily on highways. Autopilot has been available in Australia since 2019, and is completely unrelated to this story about Tesla's recent introduction of Full Self Driving (Supervised). The reporter tries to imply this segment shows a failure of the camera based system because it was dark and failed to recognise a stop sign. FSD works just fine at night time, thanks 60 minutes. SOMEHOW Tesla was found partially liable for this incident. Honestly I don't know how the lawyer managed to spin this one. While I in no way think Tesla is to blame, I do want to use this as an opportunity to plead to Tesla that its 6 year old basic Autopilot feature is in DESPERATE need of an update. Tesla is a company that strives for safety. Autopilot can and SHOULD be safer than it is in its current state. Also if the claim of Tesla withholding evidence related to this incident is true, shame on them. Be honest about your failures and learn from them, don't try to cover them up.
17:55 - 60 minutes again tries to trick the unknowing viewers into thinking that Autopilot and FSD (Supervised) are the same thing.
It does seems mad to me that FSD (Supervised) has come so far and is now so safe and advanced, yet basic Autopilot sold with every Tesla ever made is still marked as "Autopilot (Beta)" and it really does feel like a beta when you use it. If someone buys a Tesla without FSD and their first impression of Tesla's autonomous capabilities is Autopilot (Beta)... It's not a good look Tesla, and isn't going to make an uninformed individual want to try the more advanced version, FSD (Supervised).
The entire video is littered with clips of Tesla's crashing; a mixture of crashes with drivers in control, autopilot crashes and older versions of FSD, trying desperately to incite fear in the viewer. Sadly, it will work on most of the 60 minutes viewers. While a piece like this in no way surprises me coming from today's mainstream media, it still saddens me that with life saving technology such as this, we have to fight against barrage after barrage of negativity, resistance, fear and hate... but fight we must, and fight we will. @teslasi, while you don't wear capes, you folk are true life saving heroes and we're here to support you in any way we can.

To all Democrats that are watching this unfold and can't understand how the public is voting for such an evil person:
Take it from a former Democrat - the media has propagandized you.
They have lied to you.
They do not want to tell you the truth.
They just want to make you a rabid Democrat supporter, regardless of how terrible the candidate is, so they can control you.
They want your attention. That's it. They don't want to make you smarter or more informed.
They want to control you.
Today is a chance to break free of their chains.
Start by recognizing that it is not your fault. Their grip is very strong. They've been doing this for decades. It is a corrupt system.
Do not let other people think on your behalf.
Do not outsource your intelligence.
Do not let others control your mind.
It's yours.
Do not be afraid to trust your gut. Do not be afraid to question everything. Do not be afraid to speak out.
We are all Americans. We love each other. We are building this country together.
But we cannot do this effectively if we let others think on our behalf.
Do not support a party just because others have told you to.
Do not hate a person just because others have told you to.
Only you get to decide, on your own merit.
No one else.
