me when the bus stops every block: “this is inefficient and a waste of time. i hate the bus.” me when the bus stops right outside of where i’m going: “wow this is so convenient i love the bus!”

É o melhor desmentido do discurso oficial.

Me on my 11th Beatles Biopic ticket of the week excited that maybe I’ll finally get the rare Paul screening but the movie starts and once again I hear a very faintly echoed “In the townnnn”
All four 'BEATLES' biopics are set to release on the same day in April 2028. The member of the band you watch will be randomized when you buy your ticket. (Source: hollywoodreporter.com/movies…)

the over importance and saturation of the covey in everything since lgb cheapens katniss’s character so much because this implies everyone around her decided she’d be the mockingjay from birth and turns her arc into some bullshit chosen one storyline when she was just some kid who was used by both fucking sides when all she wanted to keep her sister safe.
"When she gives Haymitch the flint striker, she is literally giving him the spark, which will ultimately light the flame that is a revolution. There’s no Katniss without Lenore Dove." — Nina Jacobson, producer of ‘The Hunger Games’ franchise

So Anne Carson wins the Nobel. And what could be a better time than now to share her intimate and timeless teardrop of a poem. O Small Sad Ecstasy of Love.
There have been far too many Nobel Prize snubs for my liking. Personal favourites who never won include the following: Joyce Tolstoy Proust Achebe Borges Thiong'o Cormac McCarthy Nabokov And in recent times, my beloved Milan Kundera. I hope Michael Ondaatje wins it this year.

Hoon Lee did incredible work. His performance was perfection. Lee was the moral compass in this story. And, this actor, made me believe in timshel. He embodied goodness.
What a performance by Hoon Lee in East of Eden. It feels so incredibly lived in. There is a tenderness and emotional weight in every scene that make even his quietest scenes feel profoundly moving. WOW
