if i were starting engineering college today, i’d spend less time worrying about placements and more time building things that people actually use. the opportunities that come from real experience compound much faster than most people realize. love seeing students take this path. @nst_edu
I have spent nearly a decade building in education, and have interacted with 1000s of students. One belief has only grown stronger: this is the generation that will transform India. They are confident, ambitious and not afraid to take the unconventional path. Proud to play our bit in shaping them. And a big update: 98.3% of our first batch of Newton School of Technology Pune students are doing an internship just after their 2nd year, 17 students are building startups of their own. Here’s what some of them are working on 👇 📡 Raman is analysing satellite-signal interference at VyomIC, which is building a private satellite-navigation constellation for India. 🧠 Birajit is building infrastructure for evaluating AI models at AfterQuery, YC’s fastest unicorn. 🕹️ Devendra built a system to control a drone from a web browser in just 20 days at Drona Aviation. 💻 Sanjana gave up a paid internship to become a committer on the open source Apache Grails project. India has seen this before. In 1963, parts of our first sounding rocket were carried to the launch site on a bicycle. Fifty years later, India launched a mission to Mars. Today, private Indian startups are building rockets of their own. It took generations of engineers willing to take on problems bigger than anything they’d attempted before. This generation has its own problems to take on: 🛰️ Can every phone in India navigate on Indian satellites? 🤖 Can India build its own frontier AI model? 🏭 Can we build our own TSMC? India needs to build. India needs tons of builders. What do you want to see young Indians build?

"Software development is dead" they said. Last month a client paid me $20,000 for an app. My cost was $200 for Claude Code. It's a kiosk mode app for android tablets in taxis. Ads for partner companies, tipping the driver, admin, backend, the whole thing. Now live in production. I didn't write a single line of code. Still took 1 month of constant work. The best part? The client came to me with a vibecoded version first. It was horrendous. He paid $20k because he needed someone who has done this before, professional design, real assurance, and 12 months of support. You can't vibe code that. Without AI it would have taken 3 months and cost him 2-3x more. Developers using AI will always win. Stop listening to people who say software is dead for views.

Today we’re laying off a large part of the Airtable team. This is not a reflection of their work but a reflection of our deep belief that small teams ship more and better. For Airtable, better is about to look like: - A new Core team shipping your top requests monthly (already 30+ shipped in 3 weeks) - Upgraded Omni, Airtable Canvas, a stronger MCP, and BYO agents, coming soon - New Performance and Infra teams focusing on speeding up bases and increasing limits on records, fields, and syncs To everyone leaving: thank you. If you’re hiring, these are excellent people and worth a call.

my "why" came from the life i've lived. i was bullied a lot in school. i was bad at studies. i've failed in life more than i've achieved. so i always wanted to prove myself. i wanted to do something different from the people around me. i thought that would give me validation. but recently i realised that's not it. what really happened is i got into the habit of doing hard things. i don't fear hard work anymore. i trust myself a lot now. and now i want to do this for my close ones, the people who love me.
don't start a startup just to look cool on social media. ask your "why" first otherwise you won't be able to do it long term. of course you'll have freedom. but this freedom is for your own decisions, the way you work, and saying no to the kind of work you don't want to do. it's not freedom from deadlines, from being answerable to someone, or from working on weekends. so knowing your "why" is really important if you want to do this for the long term. it's what keeps you going on the hard days.

how to make ₹1–2 lakh/month in India as an unemployed software developer. 1. learn how to run paid ads. 2. run ads in India, which is pretty cheap, btw. 3. be a little creative with your ads. 4. you don't even need a funnel to get started. Just send people straight to your WhatsApp. you'll get a lot of people who are just there to waste your time, but the only thing you have right now is time and you can sell your time. 5. sell custom websites, ai chatbots, whatsApp bots, etc. they're pretty easy to build with Ai

Marketing geniuses and GTM geniuses, please don’t come at me lol. I wrote this as general advice for people who are struggling to get a job or freelancing gig, not as a playbook for scaling a business to $10k–$20k MRR.

you don't need a job to start making money with your skills. you need to provide a service people will pay you to solve. and right now, ai makes solving many of those problems faster than ever. If you're unemployed and reading this, don't waste the next 3 months just applying. build. sell. repeat.

that is 60-70 lakh rupee in a day 🙂
New video is our most viewed video ever in 24 hours but more importantly, it has 10,000+ comments saying it’s our BEST video ever (literally). Even though I’ve been making content for 17 years now I still think my best days are ahead, appreciate you all ❤️❤️❤️

don’t wait for 2027 to start the thing you've always wanted to do.
plan it today. give it 3 months of real effort.
even if it fails, you'll walk into the new year with lessons and momentum that most people won't have.

🚨 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: YouTube will start prioritizing original content and reducing re-uploads (RIP clipping) YouTube has just announced one of the most impactful changes to its short-form algorithm. Its recommendation systems (the algorithm) will start to further prioritize original content and reduce the reach of content re-uploaded from other creators without adding anything of your own. They highlight this shift toward originality, where channels with primarily re-uploaded content will see less distribution within the Shorts feed. It also seems like they’re really trying to put the focus on content with real value, while highlighting that YouTube doesn’t want as many “minor technical edits” or “template-based” changes. Which is basically all that clipping was in this industry. Overall, while this will piss off some people whose entire careers were built on the premise of other people’s content (mostly clippers), the change itself is amazing and will finally address the overall quality issue we’ve been seeing.

I integrated Tavus into a project at Nesoi.ai two years ago and back then it was shitty. seeing what it can do today genuinely mind blowing 🤯
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…
