He wouldn’t be able to stand up as himself if he left the other political prisoners in jail spent a cosy life with us. He wouldn’t be able to function. His life is dedicated to something greater, to the people of Pakistan, trying to pull it out of poverty and rid it of corruption. I don’t think there’s anything else that would make him happy. He is taking the “road less traveled”
It is costly
But rewards are priceless for his country
Whole system stands exposed
He still stands tall with faith & hope
May Allah keep him safe and his eye recovers fully!

The reported return of Eid clothes sent by the Bani Gala staff for Imran Khan underscores a troubling pattern of deliberate denial of basic rights.
He is reportedly being denied congregational prayers (including Friday and Eid), access to the Quran and religious materials, adequate medical care, and is being held in prolonged solitary confinement. Such actions continue to raise serious concerns under international human rights standards, including violations of religious freedom, dignity, and the right to health.
Denying even basic personal items like Eid clothing suggests treatment aimed at coercion rather than lawful detention.
We call on international human rights organizations to urgently seek:
- Independent medical access
- Restoration of religious rights
- An end to prolonged solitary confinement
- Transparency and adherence to international legal standards

My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim
Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt.
This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.

Been in awe of Imran Khan ever since I met him but what this particular speech at UNGA did to multiply the admiration can’t be described in words.
He batted for the whole Muslim Ummah with a speech straight from his heart; he spoke what I wanted to speak without knowing how to say it and same were the sentiments of many Muslims of the West!
If you have time today, experience the whole speech with headphones on, especially the 10 mins in this clip below. His fight against Islamophobia and getting 193 Nations to adopt a resolution against it will always be celebrated as a legendary accomplishment!
