Millennials are in their 40s you piece of shit
WOW ... People who have worked for over 50 years, have more money than people who have worked for 5 years. Who would ever think that this was even possible.

I have come to strongly dislike discourse that implies that there exists a higher purpose to existence that doesn't actually involve humans. I've been seeing a lot of it revolving around AI. If humanity is not the purpose, there is no purpose.
Sadly true. We won’t be the heroes of the next era. At least, not the humans we are now.

Sorry but there's a lot of data on this that suggests you're wrong. Boomers are ridiculously entitled and self centered.
I’m feeling like I need to make a boomer defense website at this point. No, we aren’t the selfish generation. We are the most hardworking generation. We don’t want to sell our homes because we worked damn hard for them, and now we have grandchildren visiting with our children and we like there is room for them. AND it’s OUR HOME. Those that are wealthy (not as many as you all imagine) ARE helping their children with paying for college (no student loans) and helping with them buying a first house. Those not wealthy now depend on the SS and Medicare they paid into their entire lives. They are also babysitting grandchildren and loving your children as no one else on earth will. We are not selfish. We are living on the years of hard work. Maybe you’ll understand when you get there, but now this bullsh*t narrative on your parent’s generation has got to stop.

If human understanding isn't a requirement, WTF is the objective?
If we want to continue progress in science, we must be prepared to acknowledge that the correct description of nature will eventually simply be too complicated for humans to understand. I do not think it is wise to make human understanding a requirement. AI is the way forward.

Console supremacists still exist? I'm baffled. Dumbfounded. Speechless.
There is an absolute shift happening and it's not in favor of PC. PC gaming sucks and at least more are finally admitting it publicly.

Steam just reached an all time high concurrent users on October 11, 2026 (8 days before this post), for the third time in this year. x.com/ALegendaryDrop… gamesradar.com/games/steam-hi… invenglobal.com/articles/27057…

Yes, forget about "decency," "fairness," "equality," and "Judeo-Christian" while there's still something to save. You can cry about it later.
The world will weep when the Judeo-Christian West falls. Only then will it wake up and realize what it lost: man's greatest attempt and achievement of decency, fairness and equality, gone forever.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 As soon as I installed it, it started upselling me on loot boxes. I played like 2 rounds before I decided to uninstall.
What's the worst game you ever paid full price for?

In order to "stop this madness" you will need a level of brutality that is at least 1000 times the execution of Nidal Hasan that you told the media you wouldn't watch Words are cheap and when your resolve was tested, you capitulated to "people" who fantasize about killing you

I don't know what the future holds. I try to analyze other people's predictions. And yeah, if the RSI guys are right, humanity is in big trouble. I don't really think the RSI guys are right. But I'm not super confident about that.
There are intelligent defenses of AI but this is just not one of them. This is nothing like the invention of the printing press or the automobile or the airplane or anything else. AI is not merely a faster and more efficient tool for humans to use (as was the case with the printing press and cars etc). The whole point of AI is that it takes human out of the equation entirely. Horse and buggy drivers had to get used to driving cars instead. AI at scale means nobody drives at all. That category of job is not simply changed. It’s eliminated. Now repeat that process across the entire economy. Now add in RSI and humans don’t even make or train AI anymore. AI just does everything. Thats the concern and it’s obviously, at the very least, legitimate and rational. The pro-AI side relentlessly strawmanning and pretending not to understand the very basic point being made is, to say the least, frustrating.

What Epic needs to do to gain adoption is leverage that 30% cut that Steam takes. Split it: - 10% cut for Epic - 10% lower prices for consumers - 10% back to the developers
We vibe coded the Epic Games Launcher to be faster than the other guy. Don't believe us? Test it out for yourself in Preview: launcher.epicgames.com

To me, it's not really "vibe coding" if you actively read and review the code that gets generated. Which Epic almost certainly does.
Game companies have stopped pretending and are racing to embrace AI. Epic just proudly announced that they “vibe coded” their newer, faster Epic Games launcher. All of bluesky massively triggered.

Complications, for both wife and babies. She's going to take weeks to recover. Girls having trouble feeding. Prayers appreciated.
After ten days of trouble, the Tomlinson twins arrived last night. This one without fuss. The other's getting some help with her breathing. Thirty-five weeks. Both five pounds. Both beautiful. My wife is also healthy, but after more than a week of intermittent labour, she needs time to recover. Thanks for all your prayers, well wishes, and concern.

When possible, treat people as individuals. When necessary, treat them as a group.
Would you side with wiggers or 110 IQ black men?

“Can we remove the people practicing Sharia Law?” “No.” “So can we at least prevent more people from coming here?” “No, we can’t do that either.” “So then what can we do?” “We can complain about it.” “What good will that do?” “I need to get re-elected.” “Well fuck you then.” “You are a woke right fascist and you want the democrats to win.”
Sharia Law has no place in the United States of America.
