@nbc Such an incredible pilot episode with #LineOfFire! I also loved that #AnnaChlumsky cameo!! Love this entire cast, the mystery aspect, family drama & comedic elements just work. I'm definitely hooked! And thank you for bringing #PeterKrause back to our screens!!! It's so nice to see him being appreciated on a network that knows what they have in him after @The911onABC & #TimMinear dropped the ball in killing off his 911 character. So excited for the rest of the #LineOfFire season and many more seasons to come!

My wife has taught high school in Tokyo for twenty years. Every year, a few of her students spend a year living with a family in America. When they come home, she asks each of them one question. "What do you miss?" She expects hamburgers. She almost never gets hamburgers. And these aren't old stories. Most of these kids came home in the last two years. "Every time I left the house, my host mom said, 'Text me when you get there.' In Japan, nobody needs to know where I am. In Ohio, somebody always did." (Mina, 17, Ohio) "If you walk toward a door, an American will hold it open. Even if you are very far away. So you have to run. I ran to so many doors." (Itsuki, 16, Georgia) "My host brother screamed on the floor of a grocery store. A stranger walked by and said to my host mom, 'You're doing great, Mama.' She almost cried. I didn't know strangers were allowed to say that." (Aoi, 17, Texas) "We went away for the weekend and left our trash can at the curb. When we got back, it was by the garage. Nobody said who. My host dad said if it had been there one more day, the neighbor would have knocked." (Haruto, 16, Minnesota) "A car got stuck in the snow in front of our house. Four men came out of four houses. Nobody called them. They pushed, the car drove away, and they went back inside without saying their names." (Ren, 17, Michigan) "Every American has jumper cables. Maybe half of them know which clip goes where. The other half help anyway." (Shin, 16, Montana) "In July, my host family put a cooler on the porch. Cold water, snacks, and a sign: 'For our delivery drivers. Thank you!' I asked if they knew the drivers. They said no." (Nanami, 16, Arizona) "Downtown, there are banners on the lampposts. Photos of soldiers from the town. Some old, some very young. My host grandpa walked me down the street and told me every name." (Yuna, 16, Iowa) "I got a C-plus on my first test. My host dad said, 'I'm proud of you,' and put it on the fridge. In Japan, nobody is proud of a C-plus." (Takeru, 17, Pennsylvania) Then the quietest girl in the class raised her hand. Sora. Seventeen. Missouri. "Nobody asks me 'home safe?' anymore," she said. She was wrong. In September, there was a typhoon warning for Tokyo. At 2 a.m., Sora's phone lit up. It was her host mom. In Missouri. Watching the weather in a country she had never been to. "Saw the storm. You home safe?" Sora told my wife she cried for a long time. Then she typed the answer she had typed a hundred times, from football games and friends' driveways. "Home safe." Her host mom wrote back one line. "Good. That's all I needed." My wife has asked that question for twenty years. Not one kid has ever said they missed how big America is. They miss how America says goodbye. And how it checks that you got home. So, America. You think you've lost something. You haven't. It's on a porch in Arizona. It's pushing a car in Michigan. It's awake at 2 a.m. in Missouri, watching our weather. You don't remember doing any of it. A kid in Tokyo will never forget.

‼️ My Mid-Season Catch-Up: #LineofFire Episodes 1–6 Recap & Theories ‼️ I have said this every single week, but NBC’s Line of Fire is officially a masterclass in television! We are six episodes deep, and this show just keeps getting better, faster, and more unhinged in the best possible way. First of all, can we talk about how exciting it is that NBC officially handed this show a much deserved full 18 episode season order?! Stretching it from 13 to 18 means we get so much more time to dive into this story, and honestly, with ratings this huge, I have a very good feeling a Season 2 order is just around the corner πŸ™ The procedural cases are fun, but the main course is the messy, tangled, and absolutely delicious family drama with the Hollingsworth family we have all come to love! If you haven't jumped on this couch with your popcorn yet, here is exactly where we stand with the chaotic family we can't stop rooting for: 🚨 Massive Spoilers for Episodes 1–6 Ahead! Let's Unpack It! 🚨 1. Mike and Jane: The Ultimate "Endgame" Confusion πŸ₯ƒ Peter Krause and Hope Davis are giving an absolute acting masterclass every single week! The dynamic is so interesting beck Mike and Jane are supposed to be separated, but their chemistry is purely electric. They are sneaking around, hooking up, and looking at each other with total "I love you" eyes meanwhile Jane is still closed off to getting their marriage back! Figure it out, Mom and Dad…are we breaking up or making out? Ultimately, Episode 6 forced Jane to drop her steely walls after a terrifying plane hijacking and face some hard truths as to why she pushes people away. But after pushing Mike away so far can they find each other again?! They desperately need to share that bottle of Woodford because this love is palpable and to me it’s far from over. 2. The Sibling Dynamic: Stronger Together 🀝 The real joy of this season has been watching the Hollingsworth kids realize they are an unstoppable (and hilarious) team when they stop turning their government badges into a family feud: Clare: Drowning in grief over Logan's murder and building the same emotional walls as her mother, but finally starting to let her guard down thanks to some great sibling teamwork and a scrappy new partner. Micah: Spent weeks exhausting himself trying to live in his dad’s legendary shadow while hiding a highly forbidden romance with the President's daughter. He finally learned he needs to live for himself…and that he and his father are more alike than they think and equally as capable in different ways. Russ: Officially wins the "Only Sane Sibling" award for being the emotional glue holding everyone together. Also... can we talk about the off the charts chemistry between Russ and his NSA buddy Brandon Hayes (Tyler Posey)?! My radar is permanently tuned to this frequency! 3. The Professional Deceit: Inside the House πŸ›οΈ The political thriller side of this show has my mouth completely gapped open. Mike has been plagued by the historical assassination attempt on President Barnes (Sam Waterston). We thought Agent Antosca was the rogue villain behind it all, but Episode 6 delivered a total shocker: Antosca didn't do it, he was actually murdered by his own close friend in the Secret Service, Darryl! My TV PTSD kicked in so hard because Mike's safety was completely on the line. Now Mike has to face a massive moral dilemma: burn it all down for the truth, or live with a dangerous lie for the sake of the country? 🀯 MY BIG THEORY: What if President Barnes was actually in on his own assassination attempt? Think about it! If Barnes orchestrated the plot just to boost his poll numbers or secure his legacy, it means Mike's entire legendary career has been built on a total lie. Discovering that would absolutely crush Mike's identity. But this is where the beauty of the show comes in: his wife and kids are the only ones who can pull him through that kind of identity crisis. They are finding their way back to each other just in time to be his ultimate support system. πŸ‘€ And speaking of trust issues... Let’s be real, I do NOT trust Terry, and I am definitely side-eyeing Mike's new girlfriend Emily! Everyone has hidden agendas on this show, and these two feel like total snakes waiting to bite. And that’s what I love about this show because it keeps you guessing! 4. Jack, Honey... What Are You Doing?! πŸ¦Ήβ€β™‚οΈ Then there is the ultimate elephant in the room: Jack (Charlie Barnett). Mike and Jane faked their own son's death, letting their other children grieve a massive loss just so he could go undercover. Talk about emotional warfare! But I’m so perplexed with what Jack is doing and it’s the best kept secret that we are dying to find out! He is lurking in the shadows, leaving metallic origami cranes at crime scenes, and he literally just lured Detective Nia Wallace into a trap, knocked her out, and threatened her entire family! But he’s a Hollingsworth and therefore in my eyes he has to be doing something for the greater good….right….RIGHT!? πŸ”₯ Theory Part 2: What if this Barnes conspiracy is exactly what Jack has been undercover investigating all along? Jack might be acting rogue and terrifying Nia because he's trying to blow open a cover-up that goes all the way to the former President himself and maybe people like Terry and Emily are planted to stop the truth from coming out! I’m reaching…..but this is what good television is about! It keeps you theorizing and having a blast while along for the ride. The Mid-Season Verdict‼️ The Hollingsworths are their own worst enemy, but when they stand together, nothing can stop them. This show forces tightly wound characters into physically and emotionally trapped situations, and the payoff is unmatched. #LineofFire is truly carving its way into television greatness and they all should be so proud of what they have achieved so far! I am buckled in, my nerves are shot, and I cannot wait to see what next week brings! πŸ”₯ New episode of #LineofFire coming Monday November 9th on @nbc and @Citytv πŸ”₯

‼️My Review of #LineofFire Episode 5 *Cul -de-Sac*‼️ I have said this progressively throughout the season, but I really mean it when I say this show just gets better and better each week!!! This episode has probably been one of my favorite episodes narratively because it’s finally showing the deeper cracks underneath the surface of this family. 🚨 Some Spoilers Ahead! 🚨 First of all, I need to say that Peter Krause is so darned good at his craft! He never ceases to make you feel deeply connected to the emotions his character carries underneath that tough exterior. In this episode, we really see the massive burden Mike has been carrying….not only in his professional life, but in his personal life with his complicated relationship with Jane. On a lighter note, we also got some cute flirtation this week, which... yes, hello, whoΒ wouldn’tΒ throw themselves at Big Mike? Lol! To continue with that thread, we have the legendary Sam Waterston guest starring as the former President that Mike saved from an assassination attempt... or did he? That is the haunting question that has plagued Mike since the day it happened. Now, he’s being publicly honored for a job he doesn't truly believe he succeeded in. Enter Mike’s amazing sons! They make the absolute best brother team, and they step up to try to crack this historical case for their dad. But of course, it comes with a steep price: exposing the truth might mean shattering their father’s faith in himself and his ability to continue doing his job proudly. Meanwhile, we have Clare and a new, scrappy partner who creates tons of friction right off the hop during an undercover investigation. But can we talk about their undercover "domestic" situation? It gave us some much needed comedic levity! They bounced off each other so well, and you can see them starting to actually enjoy each other's company professionally... and maybe beyond? We will find out! Either way, after everything she's been through, it is so nice to see Clare feel safe enough to finally let her guard down a little. 🍿✨ Over in the main web of secrets, Jane and Nia are deep into Jack’s case. Let's be honest: neither they nor us, the audience, have any idea what the heck is actually happening, and it is absolutely brilliant!! I was on the edge of my seat and audibly gasped so many times during this episode.Β Line of FireΒ keeps you guessing, and just when you think you finally have it figured out, you don’t!🫨 At the end of it all, this episode beautifully shows the immense damage that secrets can do to people, to families, to careers, and to love. No matter how much love is present, sometimes the wounds just never fully heal. Do you fight harder? Do you move on? Or do you do everything in your power to stop the cracks from completely shattering your entire world? This show makes you ask the tough questions, all while keeping you thoroughly entertained. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, and it makes you cheer on the Hollingsworth family because you just want everything good for them. #LineofFire is truly remarkable television that shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. It is making a massive mark on the TV landscape, and I just can’t wait to see it continue to shine! ✨πŸ”₯ Watch #LineofFire πŸ”₯ on @nbc and @City_tv on Mondays at 10pm and next day on @peaco ck

They still don't understand Gen X in the workplace. We don't want free pizza parties. We don't want mandatory team-building retreats. We don't want motivational speeches about being a family. And we definitely don't want another company-branded coffee mug. You know what we want? πŸ’° Pay us what we're worth. πŸ–οΈ Let us take our vacation days without guilt. 🏑 Respect our time outside of work. 🀝 Trust us to do the job we were hired to do. πŸ“΅ Stop expecting us to be available 24/7. We're not looking for an office to become our second home. We have lives, families, responsibilities, and better things to do than pretend a pizza party makes up for being underpaid and overworked. Pay us fairly, respect our boundaries, and let us get on with our lives. That's the perk. That's the culture. That's it. πŸ˜‚

finale sucked ass and the main characters died, it’s not rocket science why the fandom is dead
Replying to @AbbyBubbls
I mean, I don't think it's fair to act like the only reason people aren't interacting is due to GO3 haters?? I'd say it's safe to say that it's mostly because the general opinion on the finale is that it sucked or it was mid at best, or else everyone would have either moved to

‼️My Review for #LineofFire Episode #3 *There are Two Wolves*‼️ 🚨 Some Spoilers 🚨 Wow, just wow. There is nothing more amazing than watching a brand-new series completely find its footing in real time, and tonight was the exact moment everything confidently clicked into place. And we love to see it! πŸ’₯ The show has solidified its identity as a wild, intoxicating cocktail of perfectly timed comedy, magnetic sexiness, deep federal intrigue, and genuine whodunit mystery. It’s a perfect blend of procedural mixed with family drama, and Josh Safran @Anthologist has mastered it beautifully. The absolute pinnacle was that spectacular dinner party scene. It was loud, fast, and completely unhinged. Watching the family weave in and out of rooms, whisper about classified CIA files, and play off each other was pure genius. It felt like a high speed, live action game ofΒ Clue, but with way more family baggage and badge-wielding tension (with Terry being completely out of place the whole time around Mike!) The vibe is so electric that I literally wanted to pull up a chair, grab a glass of wine, and watch the chaos deliciously unfold. πŸ·πŸ” But what grounds all this delicious farce is how it handles its darker emotional corners. Kat Cunning is turning in a spectacular, breakout performance as Clare. Her raw grief over Logan isn't being casually glossed over or rushed through like so many other shows tend to do. You actively feel her heartbreak balancing against her fierce FBI instincts. Meanwhile, Mike is going fully analog to prove he’s still at the top of his profession, going full drill sergeant on Micah. Micah is just trying to prove he can do the job while keeping the peace. I found it so refreshing because Micah is clearly sensitive when it comes to his dad; he wants a fatherly bond but also to be seen as an equal. When Mike finally sees this, it provides a heartwarming scene that gave me majorΒ ParenthoodΒ feels. Peter Krause always knows how to ground a moment. πŸ₯Ή Equally heartwarming was Jane and Clare confiding in each other, realizing how much they need one another. And Russ… oh lovely Russ! We finally get to see him shine and show how truly capable he is. He isn’t just there for his family; he’s fantastic at his job and brings the perfect levity to the chaos around him. We feel so proud seeing it! Jack’s shadow remains a masterclass in slow-burn mystery. Charlie Barnett ending the episode right next door to that secret Homeland Security war room is wild… he's always three steps ahead and I can’t wait to dive deeper. ‼️ Little side note….I don’t see the relationship with Jane and Terry being anything but plain rice when she has a full course meal of a husband right there!! Like β€œJanie”? I cringed. He may be a useful tool but Jane and Mike need to find their way back to each other….and invest in stronger doors 🀭 #LineofFire treats grand federal conspiracies and messy family bickering with the exact same level of urgency, and it is brilliant. I was already deep in this show, but now I’m FULLY obsessed. Watch #LineofFire on @NBC and @Citytv Mondays at 10pm πŸ”₯
