It is extremely difficult for a mother to lose custody of her child. It almost always involves evident abuse. I don’t know what happened exactly, but I tend to believe Amy’s story. The fact that Amy’s mother denies living in a tent—and not the abuse itself—is also telling. She’s embarrassed about how this makes her look. And she’s continuing to sabotage her child—the definition of narcissistic parenting. The fact that Vivek is promoting her isn’t surprising: he’s a scammer at heart. Vote Amy Acton!
