Remember Bishop Sycamore the fake high school that played on espn? 😅 here’s the story.

Bryce Harper grew up swinging a wood bat
My sons will too.
Why?
Because different bats + different balls create different movement problems.
Kids have to see it
Move.
Adjust.
Figure it out.
The best hitters aren’t just great swingers
They’re great movers
What’s your go-to?
Cheaper raw material will not drive down prices. We need to sit down with major retailers and have them
Adjust their COVID margins down.
All you’re done is take money from ranchers and put move into retailers.
Beef prices are too high for a simple reason: Our cattle herd is too small. Imported beef below market prices will only put more pressure on our cattlemen. I have advised the President against this ill-advised action in the past and I now urge him to reconsider. We need to support our cattlemen, grow the herd, and let the market work.

Heard an all-time talk today by a baseball scout to a group of players and parents that if I knew in advance, I would have recorded. That 40 min speech should be made into a video and played for every sports parent & athlete in the country. Scout wrestled by the way 😏

Quick shout out & thank you to all the scouts/staff on the A’s area code team that put their time & effort into coaching these kids in Long Beach. No extra pay, they do it for the love of the game. Giving back & spreading their knowledge. The Upperclass As were the Champions! 👏

The Man, The Murf, The Legend from Madera hit a home run in his first Double-A game. Now he’s considered a Top 100 prospect in baseball… but he’s been hitting like it all season.
MLB Pipeline updated their Top 100 prospect list tonight and Murf Gray is now ranked #100 on the list.
Rightfully so.
I doubt he gets dealt this deadline either.

Everyone wants to start a travel baseball team. That’s the problem. Too many teams. Too many average rosters. Too many kids told they’re “elite.” Fewer, stronger teams would develop players a whole lot better.

If you believe a private school “steals” players from public schools, you’re looking at the issue the wrong way.
Families make decisions they believe are best for their children. Coaches don’t own athletes. Schools don’t own athletes.
Instead of blaming other programs, focus on building a program that players want to be a part of.
That’s how you win.

The baseball world moves fast.
One great weekend and you're "the guy."
One bad weekend and people start asking what happened.
The truth?
Neither weekend defines you.
Development isn't linear. Confidence isn't constant. Failure isn't permanent.
The players who eventually separate themselves aren't the ones who never struggle.... they're the ones who keep showing up, keep learning, and keep stacking good days when nobody is watching.
Trust the work. 😤
Your future doesn't care what happened this weekend. 🙌
