Great Masterclass with ⁦@cbcreative⁩ alumni Katherine Blake - The Unforgettable Loretta, Darling & her agent ⁦@ktgreenst⁩ with ⁦@becgools⁩ (future alumni author!) last night. Top tips: ‘don’t rush’ (to submit) & ‘persevere’ (when at 1st you don’t succeed).

1/4 Two years ago WADW wrote an open letter to BAFTA highlighting the inequality of their awards. The TV industry said they’d listened. This year the situation is worse. Women directors are woefully under-represented in the leading factual categories.

Proud of my colleagues in team anaesthesia on @Channel4’s documentary #emergency. Fast, efficient work, airway secured, packaged quickly, and ready for CT in an instant.

A lot of men - a lot of us - didn’t pay attention during #MeToo because every single fear women talked about in relation to #SarahEverard was expressed then. It’s not good enough to keep being surprised by stories of the dangers of walking home as a girl or woman. This is basic.

How to cover #SarahEverard: Don't: ⛔️Quote neighbours on how perp is "such a nice man" ⛔️Speculate about "what drove him to this" Do: ✅Investigate previous charges of indecent exposure ✅Connect this crime to overall poor prosecution of violence against women

My parents had 1st vaccine dose this morning (both 60+), my brothers is on Sunday (frontline NHS worker), I had mine 2weeks ago (CEV), just my sister left who isn’t in a priority group - most likely won’t get until late summer! Cannot fault NHS rollout, giving much needed hope 💕

No one can tell me that if it had been a group of Black Lives Matter protestors yesterday that they wouldn’t have been treated very differently than the mob that stormed the Capitol. We all know that’s true — and it’s unacceptable.

No idea how many people are keeping up with The Bridge (C4 game show, not Scandi Noir), but I've just seen Sunday night's penultimate episode and it's one of the great chapters of British reality TV. 15 years ago it would have won Baftas.

A statement about Britain's Got Talent
Britain's Got Talent has always been an inclusive show, which showcases diversity and supports strong storytelling in all forms and ITV stands behind the decision to broadcast Diversity's performance on BGT. Ashley and the group are a great example of the talent, creativity and diversity of modern Britain and their performance was an authentic, heartfelt response to many of the issues and events which have affected society in 2020.
