Today marks 70 years since the Supreme Court handed down its landmark decision in Brown v. Board of Education, outlawing racial segregation in America’s schools.  Let’s honor the memory of the civil rights leaders, families, and children who took extraordinary risks in order to make our schools – and ultimately our country – more fair and more free. And at a time when our public schools are growing more segregated, let’s remember that our work isn’t done until every child can get an education worthy of their promise.

What is happening in the #IranRevoIution2022 is soul-wrenching. History is repeating itself and we’re watching it play out on TikTok. In a country which gives us liberty, why are we ignoring people who are only asking for the same?

I would like to thank @USDOT for putting this document together. Please share it far and wide remembering that many people who should be aware of it might not consider themselves to have a disability and need to be alerted what their rights are. transportation.gov/airconsum…

I’ve been on a social media break the last few days. Is there anything new trending? #TwitterTakeover
45 years ago today was the 11th day of the 504 Sit-In. Congressmen Miller and Burton came to the HEW building for a hearing and I was one of several demonstrators who provided testimony.

Today is #TransVisibilityDay, and whether you are loud and proud, still figuring it all out, or not in a position to be openly trans, remember this: You are loved, you are brave, and you deserve a world where it is safe for you to be yourself.
