An AI I built opened my Future Frontend talk by roasting me. "He's on 4,300 steps. It's almost four. Ten thousand's not happening."
Then it told 300 developers to stand up. All of them did.
Its name is Loyal. It drew charts in a terminal, cracked jokes, then went quiet: "You monitor your servers every second. When did you last check on you?"
The topic is developer health. The hardest sell at a tech conference. Nobody in that room paid to hear about the damage of sitting all day. So I stopped delivering information and engineered the urgency instead.
Loyal walked the room through a stretch every kid does without thinking. Most had to fight for it. Young, and already remodeled by the chair. Loyal gets a rebuild next year. They don't.
The body is the most complex system you'll ever run. It doesn't get a v2.

‘MonoLisa Text’ is great for prose and presentations, and it works well even in smaller sizes, be it on screen or in print.
Plus: We added a ‘grade’ axis to the existing weight axis, so that you can fine-tune the stroke thickness without breaking the layout.

MonoLisa Code: Some significant adjustments to legibility compared to version 2 have been made.
A couple of letters have been widened in the light master. This means weights from Hairline to Light will render slightly wider (Upright and Italic).
