What a fun year! I’ve been coaching in some capacity for the better part of 4 years, but I finally leaned in and formalized this year. It was an honor to coach a variety of athletes chasing all sorts of goals at these races in 2022. I can’t wait for 2023!

On the increasingly long ā€œto do somedayā€ list
Replying to @TrailLive
Also worth mentioning a sub 5 hour 50 miles is a real possibility at TunnelHill. Zack Beavin came oh so close with a 5:03:06 at the finish of the 2020 50 mile race. The course for the 50 is 50.1314, so Beavins time for the 50 miles is a bit quicker and closer to 5:02 @beavinz

Happy #NationalComingOutDay! Not to be all ā€œit gets betterā€ but this weekend I got to attend my first gay wedding with my bf & his awesome family, which provided the opportunity for his mom to take embarrassing videos of us dancing. Coming out makes life pretty great. 🄰🌈

I feel like people assume @beavinz and I always run together every day… in reality the 6-day streak we have going currently is a record by quite a margin. Will we make it a week?? Only time (and my Friday meeting schedule) will tell

Turns out that even when you work for a running shoe brand, saying ā€œI’ll be OOO for a 62 mile raceā€ at work still draws strange looks

My brain: #Badwater135 is such a needlessly difficult race…I’d never do that Also my brain: I can’t wait to run #VolState500k someday šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

I have it on good authority that David is, in fact, not thinking about other girls

Been reflecting on the value of queer representation in T&F this #PrideMonth. Many recent attacks on the LGBTQ community seem targeted at visibility itself, making elevating & amplifying queer role models all the more essential. My latest for @citiusmag citiusmag.com/we-need-queer-…

There’s a ton of great analysis in here, but the stat @beavinz wanted me to bring up is that @KentuckyTrack alumni won 5 national titles- 2 more than any other school.

Ya know, maybe he was a good one to lose to at JFK
Adam Peterman arrives at mile 85.2, Auburn Lakes Trails (ALT) in first place with 12:51 elapsed. He was all business and left quickly after having ice water poured on him to cool off. #WS100
