imagine being a witness to the birth of musical legends.
in 1990’s, the world was introduced to icons like Tupac, Biggie, and Nirvanna, who went on to define an era with their unforgettable hits and performances.
or in the 1960’s with Marvin Gaye, Dianna Ross, and Stevie Wonder.
now, picture yourself having the incredible opportunity to be a part of their journey and community, to invest in their careers, and to shape the future of music.
this is the opportunity that web3 is offering you, a chance to be at the forefront of music history.

enough black founders have made it enough to be angels such that blk founders shouldn’t be struggling as much as we do to raise a preseed

Good morning, $ICP Community!
It is obviously not easy to be here at the moment
Seeing 2 years of down only…
Better times will come.
Stay strong, and remain positive as the remaining bear market can't be worse than what we already passed through 💪🏼

web3 isn't just about code and tokens; it's a mindset shift
it's us embracing this new paradigm
remember, revolutions thrive when they're driven by community.

The music community should probably do a better job educating actual music fans and other musicians as to the benefits of the blockchain and smart contracts.
You don't need a fancy marketing term to trick people or the promises of fast money, just show some care.

Music NFTs have the potential to transform the music industry, benefiting artists and fans alike.

Many people may be perplexed by the idea of purchasing a song as an NFT in today's digital age.
"Why would I pay X dollars for a single song as an NFT when streaming platforms offer vast libraries for a monthly fee?"
Understanding the artist's journey may play a role in making people understand the why. Each song is the fruit of countless hours of hard work, creativity, and passion.
Yet, imo, simply explaining the artist's process and challenges may not be enough to gain widespread support for music NFTs
The sad reality is that many people act based on self-interest. They weigh the benefits they'll receive against the cost
So, imo, for music NFTs to truly take off, the benefits to the consumer must be obvious. This could take the form of potential resale value, exclusive content, or unique experiences tied to the NFT
Nonetheless, I believe that artists have an opportunity here. By giving more to their fans, whatever their offering may be, they can pique people's interest. It taps into that feeling of "I want in on that" or the allure of being part of something exclusive, which is a big draw for many these days
But, beyond these "obvious" advantages, there is a deeper reason to support this new musical era. Music enhances our lives by eliciting emotions and creating memories
By purchasing music NFTs, we are directly supporting artists, allowing them to continue creating the melodies and lyrics that we enjoy and that define our lives
While many people may not understand the profound impact of music on our lives right away, providing unique experiences and benefits tied to NFTs could be the bridge. It's not just about the money; it's about appreciating the value that artists bring to our lives
And as more people experience these advantages firsthand, they may come to appreciate what NFTs truly mean for artists, changing the original question to:
"Why would I listen to music on a streaming platform when I can pay X amount of dollars and directly support the artist and be a part of something more than just a simple "listening" experience?"🌹
