DRR @beatha_malauri pulled up on the 14.09.26 ! 🔥
The message was clear: As we #EachOneEngageForImpact, every member, every action & every little effort counts.
We're grateful to our partners AHCM - Kkona, Wakiso.

A little Kiganda elegance. 🤍
There’s something beautiful about experiencing a culture, dressing the part, and making memories along the way.
But honestly… it’s high time I got my Kiganda name! 😂
So, my Ugandan family, what name are you giving me? 👀
Some journeys change the way you see service forever. Mine did.
This year for the first time in seven years of participating in #RotaryCancerRun virtually, I joined 100,000+ runners in Uganda and around the globe for #CancerRun2026 to HONOUR EVERY CANCER JOURNEY … those who have overcome cancer, those still fighting, and those we carry with us in memory.
Together, we raised UGX 5.62 billion (US$1.5 million) towards the fight against cancer supporting the completion of the One Stop Cancer Centre at @NsambyaHospital
As a cancer survivor, this run meant more to me than just taking part. I ran with gratitude, hope, and purpose.
It also made me appreciate even more the choice I made 8+ years ago to be part of @Rotary a journey that continues to give me opportunities to serve, connect, and create lasting impact.
Grateful to the vision bearer and everyone who continues to turn this vision into impact.
We can make cancer history, and we can do it together.
A child who can read has more than knowledge… they have the power to imagine, speak up, and create a better future.
With 775M+ adults globally unable to read or write, the need to strengthen basic education and literacy remains urgent.
@Rotary is taking action by supporting teachers, strengthening learning environments, providing essential learning resources, and expanding literacy opportunities for children and adults.
This September, let’s turn learning into opportunity and create lasting impact, one learner at a time.

@rotaryd9213 congratulates the @MinofHealthUG leadership and all frontline health workers on this defining milestone: the successful completion of the 42-day Ebola countdown and the end of the outbreak.
Behind the 42 days are decisive leadership, tireless surveillance, rapid response and extraordinary courage on the frontline.
From health workers in treatment centres to laboratories and surveillance teams in communities, countless people worked around the clock to protect Ugandan lives.
Thank you for standing in the gap. Your service saved lives.
At @Rotary, we remain committed to strengthening communities, supporting health systems and Creating Lasting Impact for a healthier Uganda.

Rotaract District 9214 Courtesy Visit to the Buganda Kingdom.@BugandaKingdom_
Our District Rotaract Representative, Rtr. Beatha Malauri @beatha_malauri , together with the team, paid a courtesy call on Oweekitiibwa PDG Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa @BobNsibirwa , Second Deputy Katikkiro and Minister of Finance, Investments, Planning and Economic Development of the Buganda Kingdom.
The engagement provided an opportunity to learn about the Kingdom’s youth initiatives and explore collaboration opportunities focused on youth socio-economic empowerment through skills development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable opportunities.
We appreciate the Buganda Kingdom’s openness and commitment to supporting young people and we look forward to partnerships that create lasting impact.

When Rotaract connects hearts, borders become bridges, and service becomes a shared purpose.
My Homecoming Fellowship in Uganda was nothing than celebration of friendship, unity, and service. Through a call for everyone to contribute USD 5 towards The Rotary Foundation, @rotaryinternational , we came together and raised USD 1,000 in support of the global fight against polio.
My heartfelt appreciation goes the Impact Presidents, Rotary and Rotaract Family in Uganda and to everyone who responded to the call to celebrate in a meaningful way by supporting the Foundation.
Together, we continue creating lasting impact.

Its 54 days in the Rotary Year. Allow me re-echo this …
To every Youth and Rotaractor across Tanzania,Uganda and beyond building something right now, often unnoticed….
This year, I work for you.
As your District Rotaract Representative 2026–2027. My responsibility is to support our clubs, develop young leaders, strengthen partnerships, and create opportunities for every youth and Rotaractor to grow personally, professionally, and through innovation that creates lasting impact.
Personal growth. Professional growth. Innovation. Impact. These aren’t separate goals, they’re one journey, and I’m here to walk it with you.
This year isn’t about a position.. it’s about people. It’s about the ideas we spark, the skills we sharpen, the solutions we build together, and the communities that are stronger because we chose to show up.
I don’t know every challenge that lies ahead. But I know this: lasting impact has always started with ordinary people who choose to serve, lead, and inspire one another.
To everyone who is walked this journey with me… thank you. And to every Rotaractor and youth across Tanzania and Uganda, I look forward to walking alongside you in the year ahead.
Each One, Engage for Impact. The work starts now.
