If you can post racist antisemitic pro-terrorist garbage all day on the internet, and stand for election to a political party’s governing body, you can work. People like that should have their benefits reduced until they finally stop leeching off the taxpayer. Enough is enough.

Fantastic news that the colossal moron, former snake oil salesman and current grifting charlatan was rejected by the people of Holborn and St Pancras.
One less crank in the House of Commons is something we can all celebrate.

Ever thought about just having a wank instead of subjecting your neighbours to nazism?

Reform are repulsive thugs and Robert Jenrick is one of the most unpleasant individuals in British politics.
'What did you expect them to do?'
Robert Jenrick reacts to footage of Reform conference attendees manhandling a protestor, and claims he has 'no sympathy'.

The Green Party deputy leader is a deeply corrupt misogynist who attends protests in defence of the theocratic fascist regime in Tehran. Apparently none of that matters in a supposedly progressive party.

Well well well: Leaked emails show Mothin Ali got his extra local allowance “to help make ends meet” - no mention of any work he was doing for the money.
The Greens are threatening to sue us for reporting this bombshell story from @BradDeas_Journo.

There’s nothing sane about leaving our armed forces in a terrible state as Russia continues to threaten war. It is gross negligence.

Sad to see that so many people want to see a press that publishes comforting lies rather than uncomfortable truths.
Even sadder that they don’t seem to understand that is what they are doing.

We have a chance to prepare, because Ukrainian soldiers are sacrificing their lives to buy the rest of us time.
Time we are currently wasting.
Defeating Russia in Ukraine should be Europe’s number one priority above all else, or we risk the total collapse of the EU.

Instead of deploying the Royal Navy in the English Channel to "stop the boats" the UK could simply rejoin the EU and utilise the Dublin agreement to return the migrants.

Borrowing for these IS mad:
✅PIP payments for anxious teens
✅a 3-lock for several million property millionaires
✅placating NIMBY opponents of essential national infrastructure with bat tunnels
✅HMG contracts for PWC, Deloitte & G4S, Serco etc.
Borrowing for these is NOT mad:
❌expedited regional infrastructure projects exempt from JRs/Natural England blockages – roads, tramlines, high speed rail that produce growth & productivity multipliers/agglomeration effects for the next century
❌nuclear/renewable energy generation & grid, creating reliable revenue streams & cheap, abundant energy for decades
❌mass municipal housebuilding – giving councils decades of rental income, alleviating price pressures in the PRS & disincentivising mass middle-class saver-driven rentierism in favour of investment in the productive economy
The point is to get a long-term ROI higher than the rate of interest, at which point borrowing-to-invest becomes not only sustainable but beneficial. The fiscal rule that says we basically shouldn't borrow for current spending outside of a recession is correct (tax rises, departmental savings on cash transfers etc., & supply-side reforms, should be employed to try and deliver balanced current budgets). BUT growth/revenue-generating capital projects are very different. BoE should facilitate the latter if necessary, supporting new infrastructure renewal bonds etc.
I'm personally sick of living in a country with a 3rd-rate public capital stock. And having such a 3rd tier public realm (esp. outside of London!) has seriously negative growth implications!
UK national debt has now tipped over the £3 TRILLION mark.
Between 2024/25 and 2029/30 we will borrow circa £650 billion on current OBR actuals + projections. Probably more.
We will start the next decade with £3.5 TRILLION in debt.
We already pay the highest borrowing rates of any G7 economy.
Yet the Burnham government is talking about borrowing even more.
That way lies madness.

No, I just don't want Putin apologists standing in parliament with a Labour whip. It's actually a pretty basic moral position to hold, and I won't be gaslit into thinking it's extreme to demand those basic principles from all Labour MPs.
Diane can fuck off to Corbyn's mob if she wants to maintain her pro-dictatorship position.
To compare that to "Russian propaganda tactics and political suppression" is shameful. You have lost your moral compass on this issue.
