Man Mike Evans runs like he’s knee deep in mud. I still love him though. He’s got that dawg in him.

Chris Ballard deserves respect in the NFL draft too where the Colts won’t be picking in the first round for the next two seasons.
Breaking: The #Colts announce they have fired GM Chris Ballard. MORE: My understanding is that Ballard told owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon that she should make the change for the good and needs of the organization, per league source. Additionally, I’m told Ballard understands that 10 years is a long time to be general manager on any one team & that he recently came to peace with the blessing of staying with the organization in that role, for that long. Ballard is one of the more humble General Managers in the NFL and a good stand-up person with a empathetic heart who deserves respect in his departure.

Another reason I can’t stand @JeffRatcliffe show on @SiriusXMFantasy: listener asks whether to start Allgeier or D. Pierce. Valid question given byes and injuries. Instead of answering with the disclaimer that injury status isn’t final, Jeff blows it off citing unknown status. 🙄

If Dwight Schrute was an NFL QB…

Checking in on @krystenpeek who recently turned her replies back on after 1.5 years of having them off. I guess this is her way of “taking the L” cc: @itsAntWright

What code is that? Spending money in the transfer portal?
This is a great stat from Evan that backs up with data the point of the column: Dusty May cracked the portal code and changed the calculus on how to build a title-winning roster in the most chaotic era ever in college sports. xitter.cf/EvanMiya/status/204136…

Purdue was the team that represented everything that used to be right about college hoops…loyalty, work ethic, a bunch of under-recruited guys whose sum was greater than the parts, etc. and Barstool and Texas fans made them a villain anyway because of a false narrative. Sad
Want to see what a team of full transfers looks like? Watch Michigan celebrating a national title. Not even Dusty May is that excited. Bunch of guys who got enough $$ & formed a team. Not a group that actually had to grind for their program. Now the landscape of college hoops

The #FinalFour should definitely move to “warm” cities permanently. This is an atrocity

Purdue at least held it together for a half against a better team. This Tennessee performance is embarrassing. Still no final fours for those rednecks

iu fans (predictably) victory lapping an elite 8 loss like they didn’t just get run off the court by northwestern (twice) only weeks ago is funny. They’ll never change

From the team that brought you Braden Smith, I present to you: Left-handed Braden Smith. Sorry haters. #BoilerUp
#Purdue signee Luke Ertel is a state champion. He finishes with 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in My. Vernon’s 52-50 win over Crown Point. More coming on @GoldandBlackcom

End of an era in college basketball. Loyalty and retention are no longer valued and guys who have played for 3 different schools making millions of dollars are romanticized. Purdue did it the right way and they’ll always be in the conversation as long as Painter is still there.

Arizona is the best team in the country. I can’t wait until they shut Michigan up for good.

22 free throws for Arizona compared to Purdue’s 13. If it was the other way around Twitter would be losing its mind.

Helluva half. They’re busting their asses out there. Arizona can’t handle the intensity so far.

Houston had only 26 points with 12 minutes left to play in the SECOND HALF. I don’t want to hear another thing about Purdue being “unwatchable” or their “brand of basketball” ever again.

Alabama is trying to find a way to clear this scumbag to play who was literally charged with a felony not two weeks ago but sports twitter is mad about Purdue. What a world we live in
Update: Alabama guard Aden Holloway has been *granted* his motion to travel out of state by a Tuscaloosa district court judge, per court docs. Alabama plays Michigan tonight in the Sweet 16.
