He used his knowledge and abilities to control outcomes and bet on them. Many Congressmen use their knowledge and ability to control outcomes of stocks and companies and bet (invest) on them. Where is the outrage for this?

I don’t believe that Sorsby should be allowed to play for Texas Tech, but is what he did much different than what many of our Congressmen do while in office??

Amazing coach—better person

Creighton volleyball assistant Angie Oxley Behrens won a national championship. At Nebraska. That's in another life, @tomshatelOWH writes, because she's all Bluejay now. omaha.com/sports/college/cre…

Shatel: Angie Oxley Behrens loved playing at Nebraska, now loves coaching at Creighton

Well said—Coach Gannon is passionate, intelligent and possesses high character—an amazing coach and even better person
Coach Booth@CoachKBooth31 Oct 2025
The transformation Coach Gannon has done for Cross Country and track needs to be celebrated more. He does it the right way, creates a wonderful experience for his athletes, and does it without the funding some other programs get. One of the best coaches I’ve ever worked with.

If you take time to listen to this interview you will better understand the next great basketball coach at Creighton—a relentless, intelligent and high character person who loves Omaha and Creighton.

Greg McDermott is a LEGEND. Legend folks. What he did to Creighton basketball cannot be explained. He is now 7-3 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament as the head coach of the Jays. He was a 6 seed or lower in eight of those ten seasons 🤯🔥

A better comparison would be for the BIG EAST baseball tournament to be at the home of the CWS every year. Why is this not happening ??
Tony Jabroni@southpawpress16 Mar 2025
Creighton fans. Complaing about the Big East Tournament being played at MSG is the college sports equivalent of having a rotating College World Series site. Move on.

Adrian Dowell is passionate, very intelligent and possesses high character—a great trifecta. I am proud of him and what he has accomplished.

Omaha's going to the Dance! What a heck of a job by @AceDowells to get Maverick basketball back on track. When we were co-workers, it was obvious he was going to be an AD in the near future. We spent many plane rides discussing how he'd go about building a successful program.

With a win vs. Butler on Saturday, Creighton MBB would set or tie program records for most conference wins (in any league it's ever been in) in a... 1-year span (15) 2-year span (29) 3-year span (43) 4-year span (55) 5-year span (69) 6-year span (82) 7-year span (91)

Last year only 12 of the 32 men’s basketball teams that won their regular season conference championship also won their conference tournament. In the next 12 days be prepared for a number of “bid stealers”—it is called March Madness.

My definition of the best coach is not based on who has the best talent, it is based on what you do with the talent that you have.

The Creighton men’s basketball win at UCONN today was an absolute coaching clinic—and a great testament to arguably the current best coach in the country—also showing the toughness of this band of Bluejays
