For the last year, I paid a few £ a month for X's premium's 'basic' offering to manage my bookmarks. Today I saw X forcing Tommy Robinson content into my notifications (and countless others), and it reminded me I shouldn't be giving this company my money.

3. Transfers of power from ordinary people to officeholders make people helpless to resist when presidents, prime ministers & their cronies do what they want.
4. Political elites use majorities (even thin ones) to justify what they do as 'representative' & claim even more power.
Add all this together and you get democracies without substance: empty shells that suck up political legitimacy in election time, and then throw people's votes back in their faces in government, whenever they screw them over.

Especially concerning is police's use of 'rough ride' tactics: throwing people in the back of police vehicles without seatbelts, then driving violently at high speeds.
These tactics killed Freddie Gray in Baltimore in 2015. They have no place in the UK.
