The paradigm shift created by @bot is real and disrupting the very idea of an "operating system". Grok Bot is becoming "the computer" for an increasing number of people, not just us geeks. It’s now the entry point for many, where all the tasks previously handled by separate apps are centralized and accessible within the same window, with the same interface. That’s the closest we’ve ever been to the end goal of human-computer interaction (HCI) design, offering a unified mental model and completely eliminating the cost and friction of constant context switching.
In this day and age when web design seems to mean tacky shaders, infuriating scroll hijacking and generic AI slop, this feels refreshingly tasteful, at least on desktop: jakobsencopenhagen.com

Introducing Cursor for iOS.
Build from anywhere by launching always-on cloud agents. Or remotely control agents running on your computer from the app.
Composer 2.5 is 75% off in the app now through July 5.

Have you ever wondered how I make some of the illustrations for makingsoftware.com?

Use Design Mode in Cursor 3 to annotate and target UI elements in the browser.
CSS view transitions + anchor positioning now let you easily build smooth SPA-like navigation on a good old static website!
CSS spacing grids usually mean verbose calc() chains or a pile of custom properties. Instead, you could repurpose the rarely used rlh unit as a short and flexible grid token:

We’re introducing Cursor 3. It is simpler, more powerful, and built for a world where all code is written by agents, while keeping the depth of a development environment.
Pretext is awesome for other reasons, but seeing all the comments on "editorial design being finally possible on the web" makes it clear most people don't know that ˋshape-outsideˋ does the job natively in CSS for DOM layouts in all browsers.
My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces):
I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept):
Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow
better *and* cheaper than Opus 4.6 is not a bad one-two punch if you ask me cursor.com/blog/composer-2
Good lord, @height_app is ✨ pure magic ✨
