This is the last time Ariel tweeted about the violence in Israel/Palestine. In the 3 WEEKS since, over 7,000 Palestinians have died—about half of which are children, Israel has cut off all power and comms and bombed NONSTOP, putting Israeli hostages at risk as well. Disappointing
My heart is broken seeing what is happening in the Middle East right now.
I was in Israel in August for the first time in 15 years and was reminded of how special of a place it is and can be for people of all faiths.
Today’s scenes are horrific. Truly. Praying for this to end soon with peace in the region once and for all. I’ll never understand how anyone can support this violence.
My heart is with all the innocent victims and the families affected.

I don’t understand how someone whose family was wrongly arrested based on their identity, then were refugees could not possibly empathize with Palestinians rn. Israel is NOT special for everyone. There are 7,000 dead bodies literally rotting in the street rn.

Can we move away from the idea that a baby born with disabilities, esp ones that don’t cause pain, a ton of medical attention, or early death, means they aren’t a “healthy” baby?? There’s nothing unhealthy about limb differences, vision & hearing differences, or autism.

my take on leftists going to law school is basically that I cannot be the only person who graduated and was further left than when they entered?? Law school and my internships pushed me towards abolition and showed me exactly how rotten American systems are.
