It's not just soybeans. Tobacco, peanuts, and cotton are all being impacted. Farming in North Carolina is a sum of multiple pieces. When multiple crops are hurting or being excluded from the world's biggest consumer, it puts farms and communities at risk.

One of the provisions tucked away in the House tax bill is a tax hike that would decimate North Carolina’s tobacco farmers. I stand with our hardworking growers and I’m pushing to get this hidden tax removed from the One Big Beautiful Bill.
