The teacher has a legal work permit and passed a background check in order to teach at the Spanish immersion preschool and daycare—according to witness interviews. "We wanted to give our children the gift of speaking another language," said one parent. "It’s just such a welcoming and sunny and happy place. The teachers are encouraged to share their culture and traditions with the children."
