Grieving tonight the death of Wendell Berry. No writer alive in my lifetime has shaped me more than Mr. Berry. Grateful for one who, in poems and essays, in novels and short stories, taught me how to stand by words.

RIP to Wendell Berry, one or the best literary voices this state has ever produced.
Berry was a brilliant writer who spent his life advocating for environment, conservation and the small farmer in rural America
A genius from Henry County who was the best of the Commonwealth

Sunderland were promoted to the Premier League a year ago today. As things stand, they'll qualify for the Europa League 😲
This after two straight seasons where all the promoted sides went back down. What the Black Cats are doing is truly remarkable 🐈⬛
