Hmm….seems like what you’re describing is pretty much thaw 70-80’s. Twenty teams depending on 2-3 networks
24-team @CFBPlayoff reax: --It enhances conference races. Sure, a team can clinch in mid-November but the days of Michigan-Ohio State being for the Big 10 title were damn exciting. That last happened 20 years ago. Those days return. --A 24-team field lessens the influence of the selection committee. Boiling it down to simplest element -- if you're ranked, you're in. (With exceptions, of course) The committee is essentially left to seed. --More on-campus playoff games. Yes, please. --There will be 50 teams (at least) in competition for the CFP each Nov. 1. That will drive interest, ratings and attendance. --The regular-season won't be impacted negatively. We've been hearing that refrain since the BCS. Texas-Oklahoma, Michigan-Ohio State, Auburn-Alabama, are still/will still be huge. So will Alabama-Georgia, BYU-Utah, Alabama-Tennessee, Notre Dame-Miami. Think of the interest at Duke, Arizona, Oklahoma State, Minnesota right now if a 24-team field existed. --To that point, the requirement for each of the P4 to play 10 P4 games will mean MORE of those types of games. The system now can support 9-3, even 8-4 teams. That's the reason SEC coaches reluctantly added a ninth conference game. This is their vision to (further) dominate the bracket realized. --The SEC and Big Ten will probably continue to get 75% of the field in some years (18 total). That's sort of the case now. --I think we all agree there are too many bowls. Bowl season will survive. A 24-team playoff will no doubt cull the herd. But what would you rather see, the Pop Tarts Bowl or the same matchup in a first-round game in the CFP with a national title at stake? --What's wrong with the odds doubling of say, Western Kentucky, hanging a "College Football Playoff first-round" banner in its practice facility? That's a good thing. -30-

Every student—regardless of ZIP code—deserves an excellent education and the opportunity to build a successful future. Students need strong academic foundations, along with opportunities to explore the many college, career, technical, and other paths available after graduation. 🎓🍎 Our small rural schools face challenges that can be very different from those of larger districts, but their students deserve the same opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. That’s why a strong rural voice in statewide education discussions matters. I have the experience and background to represent District 5 and to make sure the voices and concerns of our schools, families, and communities are heard when education decisions are made. ✔️ I would appreciate your vote on November 3 so I can continue working to ensure District 5 has a strong voice on the Kansas State Board of Education. #ExperienceMatters #PublicService #District5 #KansasEducation #RuralKansas #LocalVoices #JeanClifford #PuttingStudentsFirst #JeanClifford #KSBOE #KSDE #KASB #KFB #StrongSchools #District5 #USD275Triplains #WinonaKS #SmallSchoolBigOpportunities

Hey….i know that guy! @FortHaysTechNW
There are many paths to success after high school! Some students will attend a four-year university. Others will attend community or technical college, enter an apprenticeship, serve in the military or go directly into the workforce. Our students must leave high school well prepared with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully pursue the path they choose.🎓 I will continue working to ensure Kansas schools prepare every student for the future they choose. Let’s keep Putting Students and their futures First! 🍎 #StudentSuccess #CareerReady #KSDE #KASB #KSBOE #District5 #JeanClifford #PuttingStudentsFirst! #KSBOE #KSDE #KSBOE
