"What’s the ROI of AI?" asks the corporate manager who has never calculated the ROI of Excel, email, PowerPoint, meetings, or themselves.

I tried using AI agents to get a car insurance quote. Total failure. Insurance websites are still stuck in 1999.

That 25¢ cup fee just ended somebody’s career at Costco headquarters. You don’t mess with the $1.50 hot dog combo.

If you’ve never written code, with or without an LLM, you should be pretty humble about your p(doom) estimate.

Absolutely! It’s like how working out makes your muscles stronger.
Frequent video gamers performed on cognitive tests like non-gamers that were ~13.7 years younger

People who oppose technology should try manually shoveling their basesent.
"there are so many smart people, and they are smart... these people are wrong"

AI doomers say "please" and "thank you" to LLMs, like it's keeping a list of who was nice. Pascal’s wager, now with a subscription fee.

Writing would ruin memory. Machines would take our jobs. Recorded music would kill human creativity. Computers would make our skills obsolete. Now it’s AI. #history_rhymes

The most interesting part of Anthropic’s AI-native SDLC is what happens after deployment. An incident doesn’t just create an alert. It becomes the next piece of intent, feeding what production taught you back into planning. That’s how the lifecycle becomes a loop.

The Coldcard hack proved @sesi_the_man was right. Back in January 2026, he warned: “What I worry more about is, let’s say I set up a hardware wallet and I use it. I set it up using a private key that wasn’t generated with sufficient entropy, that was somehow guessable or predictable by someone else. You think you’ve got X number of sats in your wallet and then one day you wake up and go to check your balance and, because someone else owns your key before you did or was able to guess it somehow, your Bitcoin’s gone. That is a nightmare scenario and something that some people have experienced.” youtu.be/CUnpYCqvcOA?si=EBbU…

Coldcard is a Bitcoin hardware wallet. The Bitcoin protocol itself was never breached - this was a firmware entropy bug. If AI really surfaced it, this is just the canary in the coal mine.
More latent issues in both open-source and closed-source code are about to get found. And that’s ok. Still firmly pro open-weight LLMs.
Against any regulation that concentrates the most powerful models in the hands of a few.

Open weights discourse has entered its Name of the Rose era: the monks guarding the library have some very serious thoughts about why nobody else should get the keys.
There’s been a lot of speculation about where we stand on open-weights models. We’ve outlined our views in full here: anthropic.com/news/position-…
