I know I should probably be hawking ATP merch, but I didn’t know Bare Bones Software had a merch store, too: merch.barebones.com/ Good stuff

Bare Bones Software Merch Store

A merchandise shop from Bare Bones Software, makers of BBEdit. In 2018, BBEdit celebrated the 25th anniversary of its birth as a commercial product, available exclusively for the Mac.

I just had to write a little unix-y program to process a directory of files based on their names. I created a new text file in @bbedit and typed “#!/usr/bin/ruby”. It’s wonderful to have great tools.

Me and @bbedit spending quality time together this month for #NaNoWriMo. I like using a text editor for writing. Fewer distractions, better searches, no styling - just words. For now though - better feed the #cats before they eat me. And #coffee. Then #writing

Good morning, everyone! We're currently experiencing a service outage, so the web site is not reachable, and email isn't getting through. (Mondays, am I right?!) We'll be back on the air ASAP. We appreciate your patience.

Good morning, everyone! With macOS Ventura arriving Monday, here are a few important things to do (or keep in mind) before you upgrade your existing OS installation: 1. MAKE A FULL BACKUP. You'll be glad you did. 2. UPDATE OR UPGRADE all of your applications… 1/5

3. Upgrading your OS can be a chaotic experience, no matter how hard you try. It's OK to wait, and let others figure out where the pitfalls and sharp edges are before you upgrade. Keep an eye on our OS compatibility page : <barebones.com/support/new-os… 5/5
