At 86, Ringo Starr is still recording and touring with his All-Starr Band. He credits his longevity to a vegetarian diet, exercise and staying active.
His current shows are part of a 10-date tour following the release of his 22nd album, “Long Long Road.”

On this day in 1978, the Dead played at the foot of the Great Pyramid and Sphinx, at the Gizah Sound and Light Theater in Egypt 🐪
Organized largely by Phil, this performance would make the Grateful Dead the first American rock band to play at the Great Pyramid. Logistically, the shows were a total nightmare, with Rolling Stone reporting that an “equipment truck got stuck in sand and had to be towed by camel.” Despite this, the run proved to be one of Bobby’s favorites. He simply put it, “I hit some timeless moments there.”
