The #FuturesBazaar toolkit has been published!
But what is a Futures Bazaar? Well, it’s a co-created experience; a wild and wonderful place to play with possibilities. 🧵1/4
You might organise a #FuturesBazaar as a way to start developing group foresight capacity and futures literacy — vital skills for uncertain times. 🧵3/4
The #FuturesBazaar is also a way to enable #teambuilding through #worldbuilding… collaboration and imagination are essential skills for unlocking the most complex problems. 🧵4/4
This toolkit offers a fun way to practice both! bbc.co.uk/gel/features/futur… 👈
We’ve just published a brand new toolkit!
The #FuturesBazaar is an event for creative teams, classes and communities everywhere to run, exploring alternative futures playfully and collaboratively. 1/3, a thread... 🧵

2/3. Thinking concretely about times to come is harder and rarer than it should be. This public imagination toolkit, created by @futuryst & @filippocuttica in the traditions of #ExperientialFutures and #ParticipatoryDesign, aims to help change that.

3/3. The #FuturesBazaar is for everyone. No prior knowledge needed. Designed for players of all ages, in all fields, public & private organisations, government bodies, schools, NGOs & charities. Hold your own event and grow the #CommonsOfImagination

We’ve been talking about it.
You’ve been asking for it.
We’ve been working on it.
Today, we launched it: the image description reminder!
It’s live to 10% of global Twitter across Android, iOS, and Web. 🧵 (1 of 6)
ALT Screenshot of the image description reminder modal. The text says: Don’t forget to make your image accessible. Good image descriptions are concise yet detailed. Be sure to summarize or write out any text in the image itself. Your description makes Twitter accessible to people with disabilities, and everyone who wants more context. You can turn off this reminder in Accessibility Settings. The first button says Add descriptions. The second button says Not this time.
