Back from the supermarket. Beef mince, some shredded cheddar, fresh wraps, imported tomatoes and iceberg lettuce. And a nice bottle of Merlot. Plan was soft tacos. Only problem was the taco seasoning powder I thought I had at home; I didn’t. Wine is decent though. :-) #sunday

Ok, so oats like this are actually pretty bloody good.

Anyone ever tried these groats? Seems like old fashioned oats to be treated as rice. Supposedly quite high in fibre. I’ve put a cup in the ol’ rice cooker to see how they cook up. I think the normal white rice setting may not be long enough though. Will report.

Just onto episode 4 of Mob Land. So good.

Just finished East of Eden. An intense watch. I haven’t read the book so I’m not sure how accurate it is but it was very nicely filmed. 7-8 hours.

In town with my sis and family. Dessert at After You before heading back to the hotel lounge for a glass or two of the red stuff.
