Interesting new report on Canadian documentary sector from @DOCorg: "Many of our filmmakers struggle with what can be framed as a paradigm of privilege ... one is expected to fit within a narrow mold of being able to spend years developing projects without pay."

Nice to have former Police Chief Saunders and former deputy mayor Bailao running for mayor.
Both had almost total power, Saunders in police safety, Bailao on Housing.
If you feel that the city is safe and the housing crisis is solved, vote for them, their work. More of the same.

I asked @FredVanVleet if he plans on coming to the WNBA game in Toronto:
Do we think that folks in the Victorian era ever took their writing desks into the latrine with them to catch up on correspondence or are the hours I spend sitting on the toilet writing “so sorry for the delay” emails *evolution*

Entirety of Doug Ford’s reign has been a pay-to-play system for real estate developers, for-profit long-term care and healthcare operators. He passes legislation for those who grease his wheels (housing Bill 23 is a prime example), corrupt is all he knows.
