Last Orders at The Bavard Bar After over 8 years of regular monthly sell out shows at Towner in Eastbourne and Kino-Teatr in St Leonards, creator and host of the Bavard Bar, Mr Tim B’vard, has decided it’s time to hang up his sparkly jacket and take his final bow. Tim’s final shows as MC will be at Towner on 11 June and Kino-Teatr on 18 June. As always there’ll be three fabulous bavarders, captions and audience participation games. But expect the unexpected with some surprise guests and, as always, a whole heap of joyous nonsense. It’ll be quite a party. Come along! 📸 Marky Sparky

Last week’s Bavard Bar at Towner was another corker, with fabulous bavards from Caraline Brown, David Clegg and Louie Byford, plus a ‘What’s My Vegetable’ from Helen McNeil (Jerusalem Artichoke) and a ‘Pearl or Dean’ on Swannee Whistle from John Cave (The Flower Duet). This Wednesday’s (21st) Bavard Bar at Kino-Teatr is set to be another smasher. So grab your tickets and come along!

April’s Bavard Bar at both Towner & Kino-Teatr were fabulous shows with stonking bavards from Claudia Burnett, Tony Smith & Phil Howes at Towner, & Serena Mitchell, Jacob Funnell & Joe Skeaping at Kino-Teatr. Plus we had wonderful artistry from Maria O’Neill & hilarious games from Alan Jackson (Pearl or Dean), Mike Tann (KP Lite), Emmett Ives (What’s My Vegetable - a Butternut Squash) & Ian Powell (Oojah Kappivvy).
