The Learjet 60 crash in Florida is particularly chilling to examine. What was supposed to be a routine private flight from Texas to the Bahamas went wrong the moment the crew encountered severe turbulence and significant icing.
After requesting a climb to find smoother air, the aircraft suddenly entered an extreme overspeed condition. Cockpit audio captures the pilots’ disbelief as the jet rolled into a steep right-hand dive, descending at more than 30,000 feet per minute. 📉
Dashcam footage and radar data show the plane hitting the ground in Palm Beach County at nearly Mach 1 — far beyond the structural limits of any civilian business jet. Early analyses point to a possible structural failure, specifically of the horizontal stabilizer, which would have made recovery impossible. ✈️
Once an aircraft loses pitch trim control at those speeds, aerodynamic forces take over and leave the crew with virtually no chance of recovery.

Sad 💔
Viewer discretion advised. This is a 3 minute real time replay of the Florida Learjet 60 crash, with the uncut ATC audio.
It pulls together public ADS-B, weather radar, satellite, dashcam and drone video onto one timeline.
Here's what we know as of Nov 2 based on OSINT and today's NTSB briefing:
- Went from ~35,000 ft to impact in ~78 seconds
- Flew into a string of thunderstorms
- Crew reported ice and turbulence; asked to climb then issued a mayday
- All nine aboard are deceased, with one person injured on the ground
- Plane debris spread across half a mile and still being recovered
- NTSB says there is some evidence the jet broke up before impact
- Weather at altitude is a key focus of the investigation; but the official cause is still TBD
I make a lot of 4D reconstructions and this is the most visceral and gut wrenching thing I’ve heard in a long time. My heart goes out to the families of those on board. Important to note that the details so far point to severe weather at altitude rather than a missile or air defense system.

CCTV footage has reportedly captured the moments surrounding the tragic shooting of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong in the Bronx. The footage could help investigators identify the suspects responsible for his death. This is heartbreaking. 💔 #JusticeforJavitsFrimpng
Sad news 💔🇬🇭
15-year-old Ghanaian teenager Javits Frimpong has reportedly been shot and killed in the Bronx, New York, while on his way to school.
His father believes the incident may be connected to bullying he had experienced at school, although police have not confirmed any link.
He moved from Ghana to America just a year ago in search of a better future, but sadly, his life has been cut short.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. 🕊️💔
